Maybe you should join those threads that anon listed you stupid fuck and listen, SS is a great starting program for beginners. And that's why you also add in accessory lifts with your compound lifts, ab workout, etc to even everything else out. Even without the accessory lifts there's a good chance you won't look like t-rex like you keep hearing.

Pretty much, they are the main ingredient. Pull-ups as it is, is already incorporated into the program which makes you do them i believe at the 3 week mark. Dips you can add yourself or add in things like skull-crushers etc..
