I've Spend a lot of time thinking about being comfy, in depth. Further than just pure hedonistic "do all the things you like", but I do agree with the hedonistic treadmill and balancing it. Do what you want every day and you'll get sick of it, do positive things that are hard to do but benefit you in the end [learn something, do chores, exercise] then when you aren't doing that you're able to relax more. Comfy can only really happen when you have a sense of being reassured, fulfilled, satisfied and optimistic. "I've done a lot today and I have things I want to do tomorrow but now is my time to relax"

Most things tie into this and it's the only reason I take care of myself and the things around me. Personal grooming, tidy house, room with comfy furnishings and lightning [get rid of all your white fluorescent lighting]

I don't tell people this though

Just had a nice, comfy cigarette. Lying in my bed. Everything is quite quiet and nice.

I've been having a rough day. I wasn't able to sleep or even relax because of my psychosis. But right now I'm pretty calm. No racing thoughts. No delusions. Very few hallucinations, just some flies swinging around. They're not bothering anybody.

I just have to stop focusing on the negatives so much. I was feeling lonely, but I've got my roommates and my online friends to chat with if I need to. I was worried about my mental illness, but I'm not having any problems with it right now. Everything I need, I have. The simple necessities.

I have a collection of coomfy pics I can dump some of them anyone wants. Mainly "casual room" just illustrated rooms that look like they've been lived in, general 3dpd rooms, art and design.

It doesn't have to be particularly awful music, just different enough to make you think about it and appreciate the music you usually listen to. I've actually found listening to this while doing things where I need to concentrate helps because you're thinking about everything as it comes in the moment instead of drifting away in thought.

I do a lot of /diy/ that way I get the satisfaction of doing something and the things I make make my house more comfy.

I need comfy advice. I just want to live the comfy lifestyle. I bought a new computer desk and a new chair but im still as uncomfortable as ever, im tall and the screen is low so I have to hunch. and my chair is tall and hits the desk when I try to scoot in, any advice on how to achieve a comfy batlestation? I spend most of my time here and my back hurts after a while.

I guess that, at the root, it comes to the fact that music recorded with analog equipment simply feels more warm and comfy. Think of the difference between Led Zeppelin and Linkin Park. Analog equipment just produced this smooth, warm sound that's so comfy to listen to in comparison to the cold, harsh digitally recorded music. And the equipment itself also reminds you of simpler times when bands could hole themselves down in a studio for months to work on an album at their leisure, because labels supplied them with budget, unlike today. I suppose that's hard to understand for people not interested in music production.
