because in certain countries people shit where they eat, they shower, do laundry, and drink from water sources that are polluted by feces, toxic waste, fertilizer run offs, metal contaminants and every bacteria/parasite/fungus/virus/amoeba known to mankind
>Scientific proof that weed is good for you >ten reasons why you should drink more >smoking can actually make your kid a genius from the start! >don't worry about what you eat, nothing will go wrong! >the myth of transgenic toxic food. >that girl have some deformity? well here are 20 reasons why you are sexist if you don't procreate with her. >how to control your kid adhd with drugs
If the world was at complete peace and there was no such thing as disease and illness, rape or murder people would have gotten used to it and this perfect life style with no worries or sorrows would be the norm. Then one day someone were to stub his toe and the whole world would be in shock yelling "IF GOD EXISTED HOW COULD HE LET THIS HAPPEN?"
Similarly, if we lived in a world of pure anarchy and treachery where it's unheard of to not have at least three crippling diseases and disorders and only living to 20 years old was normal and rape and murder happened constantly then you'd be born into a world which to use seemes like hell, but to everyone else in that world is just an everyday thing. If a girl like the op was born like how she is now into this world people would marvel at how lucky she is to only have 1 disorder and she'd grow up known as the luckiest girl in the world
tl;dr it's all a matter of perspective and subjective opinions. This "If god existed then why would he let x happen" is one of the worst arguments against a god-like entity I've ever heard. Only teens who have some kind of superiority complex or hippies who want muh world peace actually think it works. It's almost as bad as those people who denounce the existence of a god because they don't like going to church or they disagree with the morals
>>26145833 I think that each of those three versions of humanity would be different. Yes as humans we are capable of adapting to each of them, but I think each of the three would be very different, and thus have different concepts of religion and morality.
>>26145902 Exactly what I mean. If you had each world lined up side by side and compared them they'd each think the one below them was a hellscape and ask why god would let such hardship and suffering happen to them. But to the actual world in question they wouldn't see anything wrong with it and what they would consider a good thing (like earning a million dollars) a world above them would ask how could they be so unfortunate and not earn a trillion dollars (which might be the norm for them)
There are plenty of good and solid arguments against the existence of god and there are good and solid arguments for the existence of a god. This is not one of them.
Wow. Imagine if that came out of your body. Imagine planning a life for your child and the doctor tells you THAT'S what it will look like. Then you have to carry it to term knowing its inevitable fate, knowing that there is a monster inside of you. Brutal.
>grandma lives with mom and I and dies of cancer slowly and painfully >dad gets murdered by some crackheads >mom had a stroke, heart attack, and has a huge list of medical issues >I wake up every day thinking about dying
God could just create a perfect world with no hardships, and no sin, and humans who are made to love Him. But then He wouldn't know if people truly loved Him in earnest, or if they were just doing it because He made them that way.
So instead He gives us trials of many hardships, deformity and disease, tempts us with sin and gives us free will to choose sin or righteousness. The point is to validate that you really are making a conscious choice to love Him, even despite those hard things. So He knows your love is real.
It's like dogs. If you have a dog, how do you know if the dog truly loves you, or only is acting like it loves you because you feed it? The only way to know for sure is to not feed it anymore.
>>26143697 This is why if there is a god he has intended our ultimate goal to be voluntary extinction. Here he is saying "look, this is what your reproduction has done." The Shakers had it right family
