>This is the average month in the life of a wagecuck
is there anything we can do to help them guys? maybe I'll forgo expanding my impressive chinese cartoon collection today and buy a poor wagie some dinner instead.
lol I made it all the way to the end of the month because this is literally my life and I know how to budget
Seriously why do people even do this. This is why I'm going to fuck off to little diomede, the only place not yet infected with their cancer
you also live on a single income, rent an expensive apartment instead of house-sharing, can't apply for dem programs, and don't use public transportation
I think the game is designed to simulate having a low IQ in order to get the full poorfag experience.
>literally every single person in America is starving to death working minimum wage jobs with terminal cancer having kids and buying iPhones
If you're trying to make a game to emphasize how paycheck to paycheck is hard that's one thing but this is propaganda tier
>Have to buy your child lunch because he's too good for free lunch
>Racked with physical problems for no apparent reason
>Your nigger kid's gotta have those new Jays bruh
>You can't into basic math skills
>You're too retarded to take a look at your car
You can make it if you're not a materialist retard who cranks out kids without prior planning. The only "options" here are ones a retard would face.
Shouldn't have dropped out of school.
This is completely and wholely original
You know my childhood friend lives in a similar situation with his mother and they've never received a penny in donations.
Things like this are crocks of shit.
>b-but anon there are shelters and soup kitchen! :^)
Ran by volunteers, the most minimum of food and housing. No assistance for mortgage, no gas card donations, no stocking the fridge, renovation assistance, nothing. Absolutely nothing.
This is dumb. I see how low-income individuals are more likely to incur misfortune and associated expenses, but this guy has something horrible happen to him literally every day.
>yesterday someone siphoned my gas
>the day before my car mysteriously stopped working
>today my car slid into another car
whys this wagecuck so god damned sick all the time
Seriously, WHO THE FUCK HAS A FUCKING KID WHILE THEY'RE IN DEBT?
>Falling for the "BU-BUT BAYYYYBEEEES" meme
>get fucking random speed bills cause you can'tcontrol your driving
>car totals for no reason
>random fucking bills from idiots
>wrecking car all the time
So, I guess we're playing as the worst fucking driver in the world?
Honestly that seems to be the case with a lot of tumblrtards who won't stop bitching about how oppressed they are and how hard it is to get a job. It seems like they have some horrible accident happen to them every day. Car breaks down, house catches fire, chronically ill, strangers doing horrible shit for no reason, whatever.
Maybe they're just the most unlucky people in the world.
The game is extremely biased (if you didn't already guess) and practically forces bad situations onto you to so you feel bad and donate money.
None of this shit happens so often, also why doesn't the idiot just go on government support? He has a child to look after, not his ego.
>practically forces bad situations onto you to so you feel bad and donate money.
Yeah, and every other dialog box is "SHARE ME!"
I survived a year getting 180 eur a month, at least i'm not in debt but there were problems with money. that being, everything after rent went for food, 100% of it. couldn't save anything because i didn't want to starve, though end of the month was usually bad, ie eating 0-1 meals a day, thank god for cheap ass porridge and potatoes.
i didnt buy alcohol or tobacco, i didnt waste money on iphones or getting a kid what the fuck, i didnt get into debt, i was just studying in uni and making due.
this propaganda piece is fucking retarded garbage that represents the 60 IQ population (I have tested 83 IQ)
>PEOPLE HAVE AN EMERGENCY LITERALLY EVERY DAY
fuck this meme
also, the 'dead grandfather funeral' issue was a fucking joke. if i was literally so deep in the black that i couldn't buy a ticket to a funeral i would ask my family to help, and if they didn't then clearly they don't care enough for me to be there so fuck em, i'm not going to his funeral
>Take the warehouse job cause its steady
>Week 1 my hours get cut in half without warning for no reason
>Dont even get the option to try for the other jobs
>Try the other jobs
>HURR NO ONE CAME IN ALL WEEK HERES $5
Maybe get a decent steady job if your going to pop out a kid huh?
>Landlord raises price
>game specifically says it's illegal
>no option to report this/sue his ass
God I love being a NEET , living with mom is much better than being a wage cuck.
>game lets you join union
>when you do you get fired
>game specifically says it's illegal
>no option to report this/sue his ass
FUCK THIS GAME
this, half my fucking money went to the kid being a retard. Why would I ever want a kid.
>kid is a major burden
>no option to send him to the orphanage
FUCK YOU, JAMAL
made it through the month with $271 and never got help from friends/family and only broke the law once. (had to drive away from parked car i rammed into)
also, >HURR DURR PAY TO PUT DOG DOWN OR LET IT SUFFER
it's called taking it outside with a .22
This game is pretty fucking stupid. I'm poor as fuck and still do better than this shit.
>have a kid
>kids other parent not in the picture
>have at least two pets in an apartment when i'm not supposed to
>"name brand shoes are important"
>god fucking hates you and your car
>can't into basic algebra
>have shit tons of credit card debt
>can put the sick puppy down but not the kid
>kid is selfish as fuck, wants "ice cream" and "field trips" and "shoes"
I grew up poor as shit. Most poor people are their because they make really, really bad decisions. That is because they think it's natural or because their parents did it, sure, but it's still true. This game ignores how 99% of the MC's problems wouldn't exist if they had been more responsible in the first place.
this, thought they were gonna give me some shit about gas prices or something but its literally just >USING THE SERVICES IN PLACE TO HELP OUT PEOPLE IN YOUR EXACT POSITION? THIS IS ANOTHER HOLOCAUST
It's literally the easiest thing. (Unless you weren't paying attention in math class and instead writing on your blog about how everyone in Steven universe is trans and how being obsese is okay.
>Yes hello, company you'be never heard of before here.
>pls gib 250 dollarinos
>This is you land lord, cough up some extra money please.
>No option to just pay the normal rent anyway
>"Despite being statistically more responsible with money than their white counterparts"
>randomly get my pay cut in half twice in a row on consecutive days
>can't get a new job
>get pay cut in half
>suddenly have to spend 400 dollars on something that isn't even a real thing
>get fired 2 days later
>have to spend more money on stupid shit
>gas bill is over 200 dollars
>electricity bill is 150 dollars
what the fuck?
Not gonna lie, I've got family who are in similar situations like this.
It's 100% because they make stupid decisions and the world is not kind to people who make stupid decisions.
But this "game" turns that shit up to 11.
>most lucrative job opportunity is $9/hr
>guess i should have kids and pets and a gym membership and need to buy 2 round trip plane tickets in a month
TAKE THIS BITCHES. I'M NOT A FUCKING RETARD! I WOULDA HAD 1.5K IF MY STUPID CAR DIDN'T EXPLODE RANDOMLY.
also I made it even despite that
fuck your shitty game I am it's master
it's PURE murrica game where everyone must have car L2 cheap public transport/bicycles like europoor in cites...
Poor people treat getting pregnant as just a thing that happens, like catching the flu or the batteries in your remote dying. They don't seem to grasp that it's a choice. It's treated as an eventuality.
It's one of the mains reasons they're poor.
Source: come from an upper middle class background but work a shit job alongside people who have been in poverty for generations.
Protip: Don't get insurance, don't pay for medical operations, put plastic on the window, don't let your kid do anything, ever, always pay the cheaper bill, try to move away when your landlord fucks you, don't take the restaurant job, don't pay for the comp-sci degree, don't pay for the lottery, live far away, click everything under "needs cash", do the yardsale, don't spend a dime on food, don't talk to the union, etc.
>pet is sick
>getting it put to sleep is 50 bucks
>can't just kill it myself
>fixing bathroom sink costs another 50 bucks (unless replacing the whole fucking sink it should be 10 bucks tops)
>need to get root canal for tooth for no reason
>can't just get tooth removed
>car is going to get repod for no reason
>can't sell car
>babysitter costs 30 bucks
>car gets repod, can't use public transport
>get fired again
>make through the month with enough money for next month's rent and in training for a new job
>still asked to donate despite beating the poor people at their own game
none of this makes any sense
Why do I have a student loan? I didn't see anything about having any education. Why do I only get three choices for work? Only $150 for a yard sale? Did I really need to hock my shit for a quick buck? I'd spend more time and sell shit on ebay to reap more money.
BIGGEST PROTIP: LET YOUR FRIEND CAMP OUT IN YOUR HOME,
protip; if you like risky hang up on the call.
protip: drive away from the crash, let your pet suffer, don't do ANYTHING for your relatives, don't attend anything for your relatives, STAY HOME with your kid, send id to school sick, ignore student loans, take the coat, STAY QUIET, etc
Why would you be a customer at this bank
You have 1500$ you cant spend without paying the jews
Seriously? They tax you just for being poor? kek
>Jamal joining sportsball team requires physical
FUCKING PENIS INSPECTION DAY
Accounts with a higher minimum balance pay a higher interest rate. They're meant for glorious NEETs with money in the bank, not some pathetic wagekek who buys 4.5% alcohol beer on payday loans.
GG, why do wagekuks find this hard?
>decide to check out whats under the menu
>notice a button that says I can't take this
Oh wow this was practically impossible how do people live like this?
SO YOU SAYING
WE WUZ KINGS?
So I decided to check out the company behind this...
What the fuck do they even do?
The grocery part of this game is stupid. Bags of beans and rice will last you a long ass time if you have no money but there isn't even an option for that.
They are a fuckin advertising company that recently made a sexist commercial or something.
>has a kid
put that shit up for adoption retard
>700-850 rent, no option for roommates or living in a region that's cheaper
>2nd shift warehouse pays 9/hr or probably around minimum wage where this is
um... no lol, you could just work 3rd shift (many places give up to 15% bonus for third shift works) and places like fedex pay well above minimum wage.
>food options don't include dried beans and rice, the cheapest of the cheap
stopped playing there.
it's like they have no clue what they're doing.
What's the point of this game then? I've lived on minimum wage in an area where the cost of living is high and I could still afford to do things sometimes.
If you make shit wage just don't have children.
Also the whole name brands are important thing. I go to the thrift store for all of my clothing and they are all name brand.
Played through a month, shit was retarded
Makes you pay full price for health insurance when in reality poorfags get heavily subsidized plans (paid for by punishing those who actually contribute to society with higher premiums/taxes)
You also have a kid by default, because apparently the game doesn't give you an option of making halfway decent life choices (such as not having a kid before you have a good, secure income and stable home)
And according to the game you can't even defend yourself against a landlord trying to raise rent without hiring a lawyer, because apparently poorfags can't even read a lease that clearly states rates are locked for x months.
Despite all this it was still easy to get through the month
I was at enough for rent (900) at the second to last day of the month, then they threw me under the base with a sudden landlord eviction and made me drop half.
>Pls donate 10$
Where do you think that 10$ will go to guys?
>i'm going to stack the deck against myself by being unmarried and having a kid and taking a $9/hr job
well i deserve it for having a child out of wedlock.
>get offered free food and housing
>decline it because it's not up to your five-course meal and luxury suite standards
People like you deserve to die, honestly. Just like the fucking """""refugees""""" complaining about this shit. Are cots and cold ham and cheese sandwiches amazing? Not really, no. Are they better than nothing? Absolutely. Are you lucky to be getting them? You bet your fucking ass, you entitled, spoiled fucking brat.
>burger costs $1
>salad costs $6
is this real americans?
A cheap fast food burger cost 1 for mcdonalds if I remember, and its 2-3 for most other places.
Lettuce is .80 per bag where I'm from, and most other vegetables range around 50 cents.
>servers only make 250$ a pay check
since when the fuck?
>75$ for a phone bill
>Having a car when I moved into the city
>800$ for rent and utilities not included.
This really isn't adding up.
>7,000 for that credit card
Are normies this dumb?
Yeah, if you live off of fast food. Fast food salads are expensive for some reason. If you roll your own salads at home, it's cheap. If you need the extra fat content you can buy a bottle of generic salad dressing for like $2. Or if you aren't a worthless nigger, you can just buy a bottle of olive oil and a bottle of vinegar and just make it yourself for even cheaper.
Obviously it's propaganda but it's retarded propaganda at that. It starts you out in a situation you'd only be in if you're fucking stupid: you've lost your job, house and savings. Why did you try to buy a house without a steady job? Why did you save so little that you've already run out? You have a kid but your spouse doesn't work?
And then the game straight up lies to you. I make $11hr and I pay about $150 a month for Obamacare insurance and this fucking game tells me that this guy raising a kid by himself on $8 an hour doesn't qualify for any insurance that costs less than $250 a month? Bullshit.
>$75 a month cellphone plan
YOU CAN'T AFFORD THAT, ASSHOLE. Option to cancel the cellphone? Lolnope that's a human right gotta have cellphones. Don't even get me started on the grocery shopping part.
>muh back hurts from lifting 20lbs
Son I work in a pet store and often spend my entire shift slinging around 50lb bags of dog food. I've been doing it for years and my back is just fine. Being poor means you forget how to lift with proper form?
>$30 to go to the laundromat
How many fucking loads are we doing, here? A dozen?
>Takes me until the 28th day of the month to figure out I qualify for food stamps
Straight propaganda aimed at wealthy people who have no idea how to budget their money because they've never had to make the effort. Anyone who's been poor knows that this thing is bullshit.
This anon gets it.
This was clearly made by trust fund kids that wouldn't know true poverty if it bit them in the dick.
>Why did you try to buy a house without a steady job?
What job is so steady that you have a 0% chance of being laid off? Not everyone can be doctors.
>Why did you save so little that you've already run out?
Valid point when you consider the prospect of burning through your 401k, but then you get to retire with nothing. If you have $20k in your savings, you'll burn through that really quick if you are jobless and have a family.
>You have a kid but your spouse doesn't work?
Parents get divorced, and the ones that do stay married don't always have dual incomes. Daycare is so expensive that it's often not worth it to have both parents working.
>Son I work in a pet store and often spend my entire shift slinging around 50lb bags of dog food. I've been doing it for years and my back is just fine.
How many years? Most of the people I know who do manual labor all day and have done it for 30+ years complain about their backs.
>75$ for a phone bill
>Having a car when I moved into the city
This was hilarious. Why would I take a loan or morgage for a car I couldn't afford?
>Are normies this dumb?
Bad decisions make bad outcomes, big shocker.
Wow, that was fucking easy
I even bought my kid ice cream and presents
Made it on my second try, first try I ran out of money on day 29.
Overall I'd say this thing is fairly unrealistic. I'm not sure how you'd end up being a single parent who is unemployed and NOT have the government be holding your ass up, at least in America where I'm assuming this game takes place.
When I took a college course I actually got in an argument with my teacher over this.
She made a list JUST like this one.
I told her Virgin mobile minimum plan offers 35$ a month for unlimited text,300minutes and 2gb of data.
I also told her that I didn't need to buy a new 14,000-20,000 car. And that on sight housing would do better with a bike. I also said that if she really wanted a car, a nice honda civic for like 7-10k Would last her for a all of college.
The part that got me the most, was how she DEMANDED that we spent 200$ a month on clothes.
>Most of the people I know who do manual labor all day and have done it for 30+ years complain about their backs.
And most people are fucking stupid. I watch my coworkers bending over and lifting heavy shit with their backs. On more than one occasion, they've watched me lift something with proper form (aka using my legs) and they laugh and ask me what the hell I'm doing. They think they're going to be young forever and it doesn't matter how they abuse their body.
Your body is built to do heavy work all day every day. If you treat it well it will treat you well. I guarantee most of the people you know are idiots who didn't start taking care of their bodies until their bodies were already starting to fall apart.
Regarding the rest of it, yes there are excuses for the various situations the game puts you in but being hit with all of them at once means your character is an idiot who deserves what he got.
I feel sorry for people who think how your teacher does.
Imagine the money she'd save and have, even if she has a decent job, by simply spending money on the lesser valued options and realizing that cars especially are not a worth-while investment. They last you a good few years then they break down, making you spend hundreds to thousands for maintenance. You could easily buy a cheaper car like that honda civic you mentioned, and when the same problems occur, spend that money for the maintenance falling back on that 13-10k left over from that 20k car you didn't get.
>she DEMANDED that we spent 200$ a month on clothes.
>he evicts you (making up an excuse), or at least makes your life as hellish as he can get away with
>wages lost going to meetings and court
>lawyer takes a huge chunk
>possibly years-long process
>no guarantee you'll win
>in the meantime landlord evicts you or at least makes your life as hellish as he can get away with
Poverty landlords know their serfs can't move easily.
I know Forbes has been going to complete shit over the past few years, but come on
Being working poor and being one disaster away from perpetual debt induced insurmountable poverty is a real thing, but the game would be much better if it tried to use real world statistics and prices. As in, I shouldn't randomly ram into a car, need a root canal, and get fired all in the same month. I should have the option to drop things from my budget as needed, and get cheaper cellphones. As it is it's basically assuming I'm unlucky, an awful driver, can't stand up for myself, and wildly overpay for literally everything.
The general point that being broke makes a kid's childhood shitty is valid though.
How fucking boneheaded can SJW's get? First they think that racial segregation is a good thing, now they think that the triangular slave trade started before Jesus was born?
Even if I bought food I would've still made it, trash game trash general
i heard some horror stories from landlords before too.
a spic family was staying in my friend's owned homes. and they were late on rent for a few months. so he took them to court, after months and $$ the court finally evicted them. EXCEPT, they get to stay from another 1/3 of the year FOR FREE before you can legally kick them out. The worst part was, when they finally did leave they trashed the entire house. (cement down toilets and drains). They also cut open some of the drywall, dropped dead fish/ meats, and sealed the wall back up. Leaving my friend hiring multiple professionals and months before he could find the source.
he had to basically renovate the entire house before anyone can live in there. All in his money
This, over 50% of Americans have less than $1000 saved up, that should automatically disqualify you from even thinking about having a kid.
I have a saying more people need to live by:
If you can't afford it, abort it.
Game is dumb.
First, if you're on the balls of your ass, why would you have responsibilities like a kid or pet. If you make $9/hr part time, you can't afford to have a kid or dog or cat. And it's your own fault that you do. Somehow I, a 25 year old, am childless. I do have a dog, but that's because I can afford to have a dog. If I was working at McDonalds, I wouldn't have gotten my dog.
Second, it's over the top. I mean landlord raises rent, some kid breaks your glass, you have car accident, landlord finds out you have a pet, some nigger stole gas from your car and a whole lot of other shit in the same month? Yeah right.
1. ACA contributions are based on the previous year's incone
2. At that income level, you'd be forced into Medicaid.
In one month
>Broke shit at work because I'm a clumsy idiot
>Lifted with my back and couldn't submit a workman's comp claim because "your supervisor laughed at you"
>Roommate trashed house
>Landlord jacked up rent twice in one month
>My kitchen sink broke
>Mom needs medication she can't afford
Pretty sure you guys with tons of money at the end, never payed for anything and never took days off etc. That would never happen irl. Also, you could donate plasma etc too. But you cannot do that very often. etc. This whole test didn't have options that are legit.
Not just that, but if you're one paycheck away from the street, you buy the cheapest shoes for the kid. I worse Wal-Mart tier clothing throughout my entire childhood.
Are normals this idiotic?
fucking easy lads. I even let my son go to the birthday party with a gift.
>no mother to help support
>landlord raises rent illegally
>i have a dog I don't remember buying, let it suffer because it's not my dog.
>Kid doesn't go to gifted school, gifted kids never amount to shit.
>Spent 79 in food, even though in real life that would not work for 1 person for a month, let alone 2 for a few weeks.
>Just didn't do basic things that I could get away with, car inspection and the credit card.
>Ended up with over 800 bucks.
I wish life was this simple.
2 ez for a NEET like me
if id ever make it through a month with that much money left id be living like a king 2bh
My family was never that close to being on the street, and I still wore Wal-Mart tier clothes because why the fuck not? They hold up just as well as other clothes and then I could have vidya and shit with the money saved.
This whole game is hilariously shit though.
Lol how stupid these people are? bringing out children they can't afford
For christ's sake I can't even afford to have a child, why the fuck would I have a pet?
>can't live with my parents yet they're asking me for help
>suddenly credit debt and other debts out of nowhere
Yeah, fuck this shit
>student debt and useless degree
Let me fucking guess. a useless major like journalism, tourism or cultural studies.
>less than $300 with which to pay $600 rent
>"gg too ez"
>What job is so steady that you have a 0% chance of being laid off?
It's the context of the game anon, it pretty much makes you take a low wage job and then buy/rent a house when in all reality you wouldn't do that. I also rolled my eyes at how it gauged that it was more costly to live father away from the work when the reality is everywhere is a different story, I live in an area where living in town is twice as cheap as out of town but it because it's a party university so noise and other issues are always a problem.
This killed me too, in a world of Big lots, TJ maxxs and the like your telling me there is no down the middle choice or a good brand cheap? Never mind that $100 kid shoes are status shoes further showing how out of touch these people are. >>26142983
I would love to see that statistic
Yeah I know right? How dare they make us go to a public place to use free stuff?
>Yeah I know right? How dare they make us go to a public place to use free stuff?
It's fucking hilarious that this game tries to make out having to go to the library to use internet as a bad thing.
>personal internet is now one of the base needs in Pavlov's hierarchy
>It's a civil rights violation to deny someone personal internet
okay what now?
I was able to pay my fucking rent
Yea, but after that you have nothing, so what now?
Well, of course everyone would make it out with more than 1k if they had more freedom. I'd sell my fucking car, ship jamal and fluffly off to the pound, and let my friend stay for the whole month. Plus I'd sue my boss and my landlord respectively.
>Cheapest healthcare is 300
>irl it's 95 if you are under 20,000
>cheapest place to live is $760 with no logic as to why farther from work is better
>cheapest where I am (Pittsburgh) is $650~$450 for a 2 bedroom apartment and in many cases it's actually pricier outside of the city
>apt is to small for your "stuff" whatever that is but makes no logic to what it is or why you should keep it, just that there is no room for "it"
>granddad die several states out and you got to make a serious choice about sacrifice money to pay respects verse earning/saving money, game thinks your entitled to going
>kid is getting bullied about the "free lunch" program, options are to pay for lunch or let him gamble his hunger because he is embarrassed, no choice to teach him the value of what he is getting or accept that some kids are just asses.
>get to the grocery shopping
>$3 baby carrot
>$1 can of beans
I quit after that, I don't think the creators have ever lived without.
did pretty good. most of that stuff is unlikely to happen in one month. also, what kind of job doesn't offer excused abscesses for court day.
>what kind of job doesn't offer excused abscesses for court day.
Some off the books or illegal job
I have a minimum wage job right now, and people don't show up left or right, nobody is getting fired and everyone is nice and lenient. I also got hired on the spot and there was no interview, you just didn't have to be a criminal. It's bullshit
>student loan bill of $250
>a pet in an apartment where it's not allowed
Is this really the kind of bullshit poorfags deal with? Where the fuck is my family? What is my degree in that I can't possibly find a better job than $9/hour? How much fucking debt do I have? Why am I a single parent?
This is hilarious. It's like every single facet of your player character is deliberately designed to make you poor.
It doesn't say I was born poor. It doesn't say my entire family is dead/jailed/useless. It doesn't say I got evicted and fired from my last job. It doesn't say how I spent $500 on spring break out of my $30000 fucking student loan debt. That leads me to believe that this situation was because of BAD CHOICES
Dont forget the part where they racked up a shitton in credit card bills
to be fair though, I can see how this would be hard for someone who was retarded enough to make *all* of these shit choices in the past
Also where the fuck did the pet come from
It pretty stupid. Most poor people I meet have iPhones and 300 dollar shoes and live more of a life than me and I actually have an abundance of money and am middle class. The government is too lenient, if you're poor you shouldn't be allowed to live extravagant lifestyles. Material items have nothing to do with living. Sure in education for kids they should all be supported, but home life? Food stamps, but anything else should be earned with hard work.
That's what's wrong with this country now, people come here because they know they don't have to earn anything to live comfortably. They can walk into a supermarket, and take out 200 dollars from their food stamp card in cash to buy whatever they want.
Is this a new level of bait? How is food comparable to designer handbags or video games?
Except I work in a supermarket and have customers who do this on the regular. Unless you're telling me they are putting money into their food stamp card.
You're exactly right. I'm a pretty optimistic person (>inb4 why are you here) and I see this is just fucked up beyond repair. This person deserves to be poor. I have a degree and I pay $53/month for student loans. I had ~6k debt from university originally so I figure this person literally has 30,000 of debt. Then I get a car payment for $250? What the fuck am I driving? A leased 2016 SUV?
I laughed when I saw the pet! I clicked give it to a friend and they wanted me to log into kikebook!
Just because poor people have things, doesn't mean they didn't work/save up for them. It always pisses me off when people get angry at poor people with items. Unless they are buying jordans and other needless BS. Then don't judge too quickly. I knew a guy who saved worked his ass off for weeks just to get a gameboy game doing odd chores around the house. People also give poor people stuff. You cannot judge someone's condition based on what they have.
this was laughably easy
No. They deserved to be judged. If you're still on welfare and food stamps you clearly cannot afford luxuries. Stop using the government money, and then you can say you worked hard to afford your cat or dog, or those new jordans.
I see people on food stamps and then they're spending 50 dollars on pet food. You can't afford a pet if you can't feed yourself.
I see kids with iPhones, and then go to college for free. You shouldn't have an iPhone or a car if you can't afford college.
Poor people wouldn't stay poor if the government wasn't helping them and they knew the true value of hard work. I work overtime when I want to buy extra luxuries, I don't get government assistance or impulsively buy useless garbage to show off.
Hard work is being able to take care of all your needs before getting to your wants. If you can't do that, you haven't been doing jack shit you lazy fuck.
>really, then why are you paying less tax than someone with more money than you?
What do you want me to do? Beg the government to raise the taxes? I'm not a part of legislation. I pay my taxes, pay what is owed, I'm not in debt, and I am not on government assistance. Whatever you're trying to say is just your opinion. I have not made up any details about what government assistance is.
>Everyone ITT going 'kek that was EZ' when the rent thats due tomorrow is $700 and they only have roughly 300-400 left
Add to that the fact you've started the month with $1000.
I cheated and started the game with 42222, and with paying for everything I could, I ended with $38600.
The game is basically saying that you need to earn at least 4K a month if you have a kid.
No shit sherlock.
I make semi poorfag choices despite having a high paying white collar job.
As a result I can afford to grow my saving, invest, and spend on my hobbies.
All this because I have an IQ over 75.
>kid gets made fun of for getting free lunches
nigger if this happens you're living above your means. where I lived like half the kids got free lunches and no one gave a shit.
plus if my kid is hungry they'll eat. this game is the result of people being raised by faggots. half these things id never dream of asking for as a kid and the "bad" answers would have been a good day for me.
If I signed a contract that specifically said they would not raise the rent I would rather take them to court because you would win.
Then again I wouldn't have a fucking kid making $9/hr.
Also it depends on the contract if he can evict you or not.
There was people in NYC renting a place and renovated it illegally for airbnb and the landlord locked them out and they took him to court and they were allowed to stay until their lease ends because the landlord couldn't legally do that.
I lived in a fairly decent place and nobody made fun of people for having free lunches
But then again it's not like the school had an assembly where they read off a list of everyone who had free lunches
the rent increase is also BS. if your landlord bulls that shit, say "i'm not leaving and I'm not paying" then they have the choice of taking you to court (in which case they would have to admit their illegal activity) or you just live there for free. this game is literally made by retards who don't understand the real world.
I got the phone call about the car registration, hung up, got the car taken away, then the thing that says car registration fee is due.
I bet a literal nu male from one of those meme coder camps made this shit.
doesn't matter what the contract says, you have legal rights as a tenant. the landlord has to give you warning before raising your rent, and can't evict without going to court.
a lot of people go from apartment to apartment just not paying and living there until you get kicked out, because there's no consequences for doing so and it takes literally months for the landlord to go through the courts. plus, if the landlord fucks up and doesn't evict properly you can sue them for a nice payday.
see pic related. I did this even with the broken bad shit generator mechanics.
Had that happen on several playthroughs.
why would you take free lunches but not foodstamps? or go to care and share? the food thing should not exist at all because there are ample opportunities for anyone to get free food.
Why did I have a house if I only had 1000 in savings? why would I use credit cards to own a house? most of the money draining choices are because of stupid choices made prior to the game starting. not having a kid (put it up for adoption if you can't keep your legs closed), not having a house on debt, and not having credit cards would remove a majority of these costly choices. Then share an apartment with friends/family and carpool to deal with the rest of the expenses.
How about instead of wasting time and effort talking about giving money to people who don't know how to manage money we invest in teaching people not to fall into these traps?
Working isn't the most fun shit for me but I can afford to eat out as often as I want, buy whatever for groceries, make my car payment, student loan, and rent payments on time... take vacations, take off 3 weeks from work every year, say fuck it and spend $10,000 in a month if I feel like it (not on a monthly basis, but yearly, sure).
And still save $1,500/month on top. That's after the Jews tax me for about the same, and after putting 8% to retirement. What the hell do people do with all this money? Buy a BMW? I have no fucking idea.
It's not in the slightest an exaggeration when I say I haven't worried about money in the past 2 years. The greedy Jew in me always wants more but I'm always eating and my bills are covered.
So is the point of this game how retarded poor people are?
you can afford an apartment right by work and have 206 dollars earnings for the week mate
>tfw my rent was $800 and my paycheck was like $1000
>after my insurance and gas and things I had $70 left over
>for me and my gf
>used $20 on internet
>rest on food
>would go to red cross and food banks to get expired food etc
I wish I had hundreds of dollars left over. Fuck you.
>they force you into the shoes of an asshole who had a mortgage, a kid, and a whore wife
Why. Not to mention maximum unskilled labor, anyone who lives a life like this game should be purged
Not hard to live on a budget. Are poor people really this dumb to where they just feel entitled to everything, and just blow money constantly?
You didn't really win the game if you didn't have enough money to pay rent at the end.
(For the record: there's one option to fly out of state for $350 for your childhood best friends wedding)
Also what kind of asshole best friend has a wedding that is so far away and expensive to get to his friends can't make it? So wtf is the point if no one can go? How is he your best friend if he lives nowhere near you? Why did he choose to have his wedding far removed from important friends and family?
>pet treatment was $400, choose to pay even if I had like $180, lost on day 5
Now restarted and it looks like my pet is alright now, still would have missed around 50 even if I choose no insurance and living in the woods.
Had the chance to play lotto instead but I passed and payed for my child's trips to museum
Right so we've all agreed this is like shaniqua and her little niglet or some other single mother trash? So why is there no option to blow the landlord and mechanic or some shit? It's what would happen in real life I guess. Or why can't she sell herself like the stupid whore she is?
hahaha! I made shit decisions on purpose then won the lottery.
Fucking lies and deception. Fuck the makers of this shit.
As a kid i have never had any of the best stuff, no computer untill someone from my distant family was upgreading, shitty shoes, and so on, it's not even that bad. You just have to be not spoiled brat.
It's insulting to normal, not retarded, unsuccessful people.
>your child has been identified as gifted
go on son, good shi-
>your child is struggling with math
still made it through with 843$, but Americans cant be this cucked when it comes to money right?
This game is too easy, stupid normies need donations as well kek
I made it to the end with $760 dollars. And I wasn't skimpy either. I spent the $200 on a computer science course, I spent the $60 on internet, I was more than realistic with my groceries, it said it would cost $84 when realistically I get my groceries for significantly less (like $40-60). I don't have any friends, so obviously I never spent any money on going to a fucking concert or a babysitter because I sure as fuck don't have a kid. My biggest gripe is they act like you can't exist without a car. Towards the end it force me to either pay for registration or lose my car. Why the fuck? Just like real life, I don't spend my money on a car, I ride public transit. I gave the $100 to my mom, even though my mom isn't sick, because realistically I would give my mom money if she needed it. Beyond that, I guess it fucking sucks for normalfags, but i'm a wageslave and half of these expenses are "you have friends and kids and a social life xD" which is fucking unrealistic for me. Same with the pet. Since when do I have a pet?
The only parts that are realistic and close to home for me is being hungry as fuck at work and not wanting to spend money on food and living conditions with roommates.
>Not realizing that the triangle trade began shortly after the universe began
For fucks sake, check your privilege. POC have been oppressed for billions of years.
Actually the food thing was kind of generous.
1$ hotdogs,1 fruit mix. Ramen noodles was a little bit more expensive.
It kind of felt like they wanted to make a worst case scenario so that way you would feel the agony of ''muh people''. But it's good to prepare you for those worst case scenarios.
However if someone was making this money a year AND have kids they a;ready qualify for many benefits including Passport(free health insurance) Food stamps, Daycare assistance. That free food part was fucking retarded, since my dad was technically too rich for free food, but couldn't afford to feed us so I went to school many times starving. I would had killed for free food. In fact most kids at my school had free food.
Unless you go to a rich school, which I doubt if you make 9$ an hour no one gives a shit if you got free food.
I'd get my son and or daughter free food and like a $ or 2 to get some chips and a drink to go with it.
They can fire you for any load of minor reasons, it is hard as fuck to prove why they fired you. If you're poor you don't have the money or time to fight a legal battle. This game is flawed as fuck on a lot of points, but this one isn't so inaccurate
Wasn't so hard, and my kid got to eat and everything. Fucking casuals.
>He didn't donate plasma twice.
>He didn't get the good friend to live in the house.
>He didn't use paper towels as toilet paper.
>Find a job or exit.
Looks like the exitbag for me normies re.
Yeah that was one of the hugest what the fuck moments in the thing. I can't imagine how you would spend 30 dollars to do laundry. I would just throw all my fucking clothes into cold, get it done in one load. It cost like 25 cents at my old apartments or something. Also cost about 25 cents when I was living in a hotel room. I can't imagine spending more than like $5 dollars
