What I never like about aliens is that they never have enough depth to them.

In all of mass effect, a single species will have 1 standard religion, race and a standard sex drive.

Fucking anything would make it more intuitive, a hatred of race, a minority of a religion is causing problems and even a civil issue would make them better. But no, everyone in a sci fi are the exact same with no racial ambiguity

I will fall for the bait. It's scientifically proven that racism is in fact a healthy property, it's part of a brain process that filters out threat. I live in an eastern european country, and there in a rural town, so the number of black people are really minimal (usually sportsmen, about 10 maximum). Here, they aren't considered a threat, therefore our brains usually bends the unknown from threat to comedy, and for god knows why, I can't help it but to start and laugh when a black person passes by. And not just me, everyone reports me in my circle.
