Who here has any exotic pets?
This is my python, Noodle
I plan to
He's really friendly, my local exotic shop almost didnt want to sell him because they've had him for 2 years and really liked him.
Get an ornate bichir
I have rats. This is my favorite rat: Diana. I have 5 more, including a fat beta male who turned into a momma's boy.
I understand the morbid humor posting this immediately after snek
I've thought a lot about making a terrarium for various kinds of insects, but it's probably impossible to balance different species out and play god, so I'd have to settle for just ants or something.
I guess that might be fun either way.
This is Juno, Diana's bigger sister, and the matriarch. She's nice and polite to people, but rules rats with an iron fist.
Yeah! I'm planning on culturing isopods and a few other little critters because I want dat bioactive substrate. I'm planning on starting in one tank then growing their numbers to live in more tanks as I get more bugs.
I don't know much about what kinds of environments royal pythons like but I imagine all herps can benefit from bioactive tanks
Venus, Mercury, Minerva, Fortuna, and Juno.
Diana sleeps on her own most of the time.
It's pretty cheap, compared to a dog or something. As long as you frontload some costs, and get more than one (they get lonely quickly), it's a pretty low maintenance pet.
That being said, I've sunk hundreds of dollars into Rat and Rat acessories.
Noodle is pretty cute, if I'm being honest. Pythons have adorable pupper face.
>Is baby pretty now, Daddy? Baby pretty now?
