I mostly drink water, but the other day I had mint tea at the office. holy shit it was so good and refreshing. I couldnt pick one up today because it was a shit, rushed day. hopefully I'll pick one up tomorrow.

>>26123648 Weirdly relevant thread. Gave up soft drinks for the new year. There's so much sugar in them. If I try to do everything at once I'll never make it, but I'm trying to improve my overall health one step at a time. Tomorrow I start cleaner eating, avoiding all processed stuff I reasonably can, then the month after, I'm gonna try to work in regular exercise.
the issue with these artificial sweeteners as a 'sugar' replacement is kind of weird.
even though you have less calories because your body can't actually digest whatever fucked up molecules stevia, aspartame or (insert other sweetener here), your body will still crave carbs or sweet foods as a result of the 'sweet taste'.
the pancreas will still release insulin causing your blood sugar to increase and then drop dramatically even though you aren't absorbing the calories.
