I feel you for the most part but that's only if you're in touristy areas. There are some "private" beaches in Malibu that are great. They aren't actually private but the general public thinks they're because they're blocked by houses. So if you go there they're usually pretty empty and clean

I know, before you say "normiegram reee leave my board", just hear me out.

I took this picture in late June/early July on my way to hang out with some "friends" in the city. It was one of the last days I was truly "happy"; my ex of three years and I were going through the death throes of our relationship, and I was still at this time so naive to how much it was going to suck afterwards. I shirked on my duties to try and fix our relationship, and instead tried to hang out with some girl who ended up rejecting me once I was single. Now I'm here alone, bitter, one step away from being a college dropout working a dead end job with no future prospects on anything. I don't hang out with these "friends" anymore, I'd rather not socialize with anyone, and spend most of my days working and sitting on the computer for hours on end.

This is the only moment of "happiness" I have left.

Also it's not letting me quote anyone else, but OMW dude, I'm jealous of you for being able to experience this glorious wet weiner on the road. Upside down naked guy; what the fuck goes on with your family......

This is the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne. I volunteer there as a guide. It's usually really busy with tourists and people hanging around, so it was nice to be able to get a photo with no one around.

My parents' home has a relatively big garden (over 1.5 acres) in the countryside. At the bottom of it is a small field surrounded by trees, which form a mini woodland. Here is a picture I took of the forest in Summer 2004.

Currently I live in a city but I see myself living in the countryside when I'm older. Maybe it's just because I grew up there but I prefer it.

I've been through that. A year or so passed after my relationship came to an end. I don't remember when exactly, because the days just blend together. There was one day following months of just feeling like shit. I ended up taking a nap on a bench outside after one of my classes. When I woke up, this is what I saw.

Felt good for no reason. These days (a year or two after the photograph) I don't really talk to any of my old friends, I don't go outside except for food or class. There's no joy in video games anymore, nothing is exciting anymore. Nothing left to do, but graduate and become and continue own my path as a wagecuck

This thread makes me want to take more pictures. I go places and I do things, but I almost never take pictures. The dates on the ones I looked through helped me put this past year in perspective. All the bad, all the good.

I don't want to be that asshole that always has his phone out taking pictures though. Often when I do want to take one I fuss with unlocking it then launching the camera app and the opportunity has already passed me. But that's life.

We had a false spring awhile ago, and all the flowers bloomed. Then there was an ice storm, most things died, but this entire plant was covered with ice and frozen in time. When it thawed a week later it went back to blooming.
