It's too expensive, plus I'd feel self conscious as fuck working out in front of dozens of chads and stacies.

I occasionally work out at home with small weights but I know I'll never get any real gains like that.

I do chin-ups and push-ups because I weigh basically nothing and it makes me feel better about myself despite the fact that I'm not building any muscle or putting any real effort in.

Tried getting into lifting about 5 times, found it boring and repetitive and quit after 2 months every time. Now I do martial arts and it's hella fun to train.

Only reason I don't look like one of the pretty boys from the magazines is cuz I eat like shit, but I'm still pretty strong. It's a pleasant realization to find out you're not made of glass and can take a couple punches.

I can never stick to it. I tried lifting on and off four times in the course of 5 years.

I'm the same skinny faggot I was. I have never went a full week and completed a split.

Thinking back, I should really kill myself because this is the case with everything in my life tbqh

Tried it for a solid six weeks back in 2012. The only reason I went was because my really charismatic roommate got me into it. It was fun, just not really right for me. I prefer to maintain my health passively through responsible diet and choosing health-conscious options in everyday life (walk instead of bus, stairs instead of elevator, etc.).

he's right, get a door hang pull up bar, they're like 20 dollars. do 100 pushups and pull ups a day and you'll see some gains. I do that to maintain my body and I've put on about 20 lbs of muscle in the last two years, just from body weight exercises and occassionally lifting.

Started lifting few weeks ago, been doing 5x5 Strong lifts. Squats for one exploded just in about 1.5 weeks. 20kg > 50kg 5x5 with ease.

Changing my routine to SS starting tomorrow and adding in power cleans which SL did not have. Been sticking it to the military-press which I'm now at 30kg i do roughly 3x a week mixed in with bench press.

Also Been thinking about using my old weighted vest for dead-lifts and squats since i used up all my weights (Extra 30kg). Gym memberships here cost upwards of 600$ a year, fuck that shit i have to use what i got.

Otherwise I'm loving lifting weights so far.

Wish there was a neat Judo place around here. Only other thing I've found besides my Muay Thai and Boxing is A BJJ place but it's expensive.

Yes, since I do nothing all day anyway I do push ups, sit ups, and dumbbell curls daily.
I'm paranoid about my health yet I still smoke weed and sit in a room with a litter box and no air circulation.
