Femanons, what's the next cosplay you're planning?
>I'm a robot because I'm sad sometimes
Can't you just find some other place to blog about your shit? You may actually enjoy Tumblr or something. Anything has to be better than posting here, where a majority of people dislike you and know that you're a pretender.
Jesus Christ. There are thousands of blog sites and other forums to be posting on. Even other boards on 4chan that you'd probably receive less hate on. I don't want to be a dickhead to you, but you make it very hard for yourself really. All I wanted was to enjoy a good old femanon thread, but you swoop in with your bf blogposting. You're not even that ugly, you do leave your house, etc etc so why would you be posting on ROBOT9001 if you're not a ROBOT?
Looks bretty good
Personally I would have made the armour for the arm, the fabric does look alright, prehaps some weathering, I do not want to know how long body painting a decent consistently took. it took me way to long to do multi shades of green on my face and torso alone
I did a lot to the arm since then, I'm horrible about constantly messing with a design sometimes to the point that I fuck it.
I still have a handful of other things to do though.
I get that, I get super perfectionistic on a piece of work to the point I'll keep going "too get it right" then end up doing to much and ruinning it.
I do like the weathering on the shoulder as it breaks up the solid silver a bit
I'm going to cosplay Stevonnie next year when my hair grows out.
I look enough like her to pass and she's one of my favourite fusions.
If I had a Steven bf, I'd just go as Connie instead. Obviously not an option though.
>men draw nearly all super heroines in skimpy or body tight uniforms
>men complain when girls want to cosplay them and have literally no option but to dress slutty
W H A T D O M E N W A N T ?
It's only a particular subset of bitter social outcasts who want to police how fucking comic book characters (of all trivial things) are depicted in cosplaying.
The important thing to remember is that their opinions don't matter to anyone you care about. Do whatever you want, all they can do is rage behind their keyboards.
What's the alternative? Wearing the shitty new 52 Diana design? Wearing black tights underneath that completely ruin your cosplay?
Sure, if I wanted to cosplay someone like Kamala Khan everything would be fine. But most women in the DC/Marvel universes are dressed slutty.
how about you try not being a slut, you slut
I'm a western animation/comic fan, I'm not a weeb. It's not an interest of mine
maybe if this outfit was actually fucking used in the justice league comics or anything relevant. holy fucking shit. why would I spend months designing a costume that is rarely used in the first place?
I want to use the costume that the character is known for. If this was the original and it looked better I'd totally go for the full coverage look instead.
Well in the picture you posted there's a batgirl who's barely showing any skin. Wouldn't call that slutty even if the suit is tight. Actually all those characters are dressed less sluttily than you're planning to.
Dress how you want, but "I have no choice but to dress slutty because I care deeply about accurate portrayal of characters who happen to show the most skin" is bullshit and people not just owning their choices triggers me.
Anyways I was legitimately wondering if gladiator she-hulk is a real thing.
>why would I spend months designing a costume that is rarely used in the first place?
Because it's unique and interesting. But you don't care about that. You just want easy attention.
If I was to wear a spandex suit it would look just as slutty. I have ass and tits, therefore it would look like I'm shooting a porno.
Caring about portrayal is the entire point of the cosplay in my mind. I've cosplayed characters in the past that weren't showing any skin as well. If I was to do a Wonder Woman cosplay, it would have to be the original. I literally refuse to stand for the new 52 version and actually spend time on that.
fuck the new 52
Then lose weight you fat fuck.
Oh who am I kidding, you're probably ugly as fuck regardless.
>blah blah spend months working on an outfit from a series you dislike that was only around for less than 10 issues because showing skin bothers NEETs
kek, fuck off senpai. I'll continue to cosplay whatever I like.
The original point was since there is an incredible abundance of slutty female characters in comics, there will be an abundance of slutty female cosplayers.
Interesting how cosplaying a comic book character makes you a slut now a days. I thought you actually had to lose your kissless, handholdless virginity to be a slut? Silly me.
Call me a slut, it's not like it's much of a negative word now a days anyway.
