Natural selection doesn't occur in these circumstances because they are blocked. If anything this means people are waiting longer to reproduce, which allows more time to select mates based off of financial success, intelligence and other traits once their hormones aren't raging.

Alpha behaviour is mostly just your hormones. If you have a high testosterone level you will naturally be more assertive and aggressive.

People don't like admitting that because it places humans on the same level as animals but it is true.

If you are worried you are too beta then start using testosterone and start lifting.
