ITT: Rules you want to set for this world, but know will never happen.
>anyone who doesn't specialize to advance our fields in science and math in some way at least once in their life, should be put down
What would the benefit of everyone specialising be
>thinking that science is basically for retards i.e. reddit
>>anyone who doesn't specialize to advance our fields in science and math in some way at least once in their life, should be put down
At which point would you put them down? If they have their entire lives to advance math and science, then they have until their natural death. so you really can't say they failed until they already died.
Actually, I'd like to amend that.
>In order to vote, you must have completed both a university-level philosophy class and a statistics class
There are way too many people voting who have no concept of statistics or formal logic, which are both essential for making any judgements about a political philosophy.
I actually agree with this, or at least a high school diploma. Universal suffrage is fucking stupid. Most people don't make informed decisions, so many people voted for Obama just because he was black and so many people will vote for Hilary just because she has a vag. I don't think limiting it would solve the problem entirely but at least smarter people, or at least harder working people, would determine the future of the country and not just any fucking yahoo.
>STILL believing votes mean anything
If you're as educated as you pretend to be you'd know the election is literally a reality show. The actual decision is done by a very small group of people.
It's still dramatically better than letting any dumb fuck vote. At least it would ensure only people who can think coherently enough to write an essay would be able to vote. Then politicians would be forced to tailor their policies around shit that actually might work, rather than what sounds catchy to the masses.
Your reading comprehension is clearly lacking. I was proposing the ability to write an essay as the lower bound of intelligence that should be required to make an informed voting decision.
ie. Somebody who can't organise their thoughts enough to write a passable essay should have no say in who gets to run the country.
>hurr maybe if I talk down to people all the time it'll make me seem smarter and maybe if I make absurd requirements for stupid things like voting I can hide the fact I've demonstrated zero signs of intelligence myself durr hurr
