He seems like a nice person. People want to feel like they belong. Even an individualistic person falls into a category of some sort. Tumblr culture, hipster culture, gamer culture, robot culture. There's so many people on this planet you can forget being a snowflake.

Most of these kids, like us, are loners who just want to belong to something. The different is being on /r9k/ is almost akin to self-flaggelation whereas choosing to belong on Tumblr is like a nice comfy hugbox for anyone with hair dye and low enough self-esteem to fudge with their sexuality.

Same here. I've come uncomfortably close to doing it before. Mine has pretty much completely ruined my ability to ever feel confident about the way I look, especially knowing that the surgery is like $5-10k.

Fuses pop culture with political messages, political stuff slowly increases as you become inured to it.
