I love uplifting but nowdays it's hard to find good tracks because the genre is stagnating and is getting very formulaic. You always have your progressive, breakdown, and uplift, and they all work this way. Unless the track has an outstanding melody it just does nothing for me.

UK raves have a lot of that House and Acid sound but with more Breakbeats and at one time a lot of euphoric piano samples, the rest of Europe seems to prefer their raves to be slightly more Hardcore.

Different preferences, I prefer my music to be quite fast tempo so Trance is one of those genres I like less. As for whether it sounds 'emotional' or not, that depends on the listener. I find Trance tries to go for that euphoric sort of feeling but ends up all sounding roughly the same, whereas I prefer the feel that tracks like this give instead.

It's okay but honestly my two favourite things about the music I listen to are either the drums or the bassline, and Trance prefers to focus on the synths so I listen to far less of it. Although at this point all the Trance I do listen to is either from Japan or from Garuda Music.
