I joined the military straight out of high school thought I would be a total bad ass. You wanna know what happened?

I got deployed, got ambushed, got shot 3 times, watched a lead vehicle blow up and someone that I went through boot camp with die right in front of me while whimpering about not wanting to die.

I got honorably discharged, got a dumb ass medal that's god knows where. Women all want to sleep with me because they think I'm so "brave" when in reality I was a total pussy and scared to death when I was out there and I hate myself now.

Now I hate everyone and drink myself to sleep every night. Go ahead and join, you might love it, I sure didn't.

NOTHING combat related. Being an ADG or AFPOL give you fuck all.

Supply gives you licences for trucks, forklifts, and logistics certificates, Movements is just heavy vehicles.

All the technician spots are one way to go, as you'll no doubt get a job with Qantas, Jetstar, etc when you get out being an aircraft technician.

IT positions like CETECH give you awesome qualifications, CISCON does not, and neither does Intelligence.

Admin roles are not that decent either, but a cruisey job depending on where you are posted.

Trade musterings are the way to go my man - plumber, electrician, etc. Defence pays for ALL the training.
