There's a small scene here in Houston TX.

Back in 2012, VNV Nation came on their tour. There happened to be a EDM group and a emocore group or something playing next door. It was funny seeing all these young scenie weenie kids staring at all us goths and rivetheads as we bought our tickets.

I like morbid things, am obsessed with and romanticize death to an unhealthy degree, dress almost exclusively in black and dark gray, and I enjoy listening to goth music.

However, I never wear makeup or piercings, have only been to one goth club in my entire life, and hate music scenes in general. Are people complete retards for calling me goth?

I was pretty damn goth as a teen and in my early twenties.
It's toned down a bit now, but I keep the image going.

My girlfriend is a hot goth/punk although I'm not I can appreciate music like Nine Inch Nails, and The Cure, Joy Division, New Order and her sense of style. Also she hates the emo side of it.
