Who /prognathism/ here?
What kind of prognathism do you have/think you have?
Are you going to do/have you done something about?
I think I have maxillary prognathism but idk I'll ask a doctor. I'd get braces but they are probably too expensive fml
>Realize I look like a dick nosed eagle faggot from the side due to my prognathism
>Huge nose doesn't help
>Stress over it to no end
>Self esteem is shot to shit
Ignore this disappointment of a beard ;_;
I have a small overbite dentist says not to worry about
Yeah now that I look at it smiling it looks normal but expressionless looks like prognathism I think. Or no?
I have been called shark and fish before and my chin is worse than all of those posted here.
>fairly big nose pointing slightly upwards(no crooked nose or lumpy nose, fairly slender nose bridge)
>very slim face
>tfw mandibular prognathism
>tfw the lower half of my face is also noticeably assymetrical
>tfw my face looks like a fucking sweet potato
Fuck this. My conscription is coming up this year and there's no way I'm going to go through forced group living with this. Plus, I'm sick of living with such low self-esteem. I'm planning to move out this month and get some well paying menial job and just start saving up for a jaw correctional surgery.
I might have to cut all ties with my family since we have such contrasting opinions regarding my tertiary education but I don't care. I can't stand living with shit anymore.
Almost the same situation. I have a mandibular deficiency(I think, not 100% sure) and it's seriously affecting my quality of life and my parents just laugh it off and tell me to get over myself. I'm saving money from my job but they are making it really difficult.
If you have an underbite I'm pretty sure you have mandibular prognathism. Also, if your jaw makes a click when you open your mouth as wide as you can, you also have improper jaw alignment.
Anyway, if you're finding it problematic to save up a reasonable amount of money per month for your jaw surgery due to your co-inhabitancy with your family, maybe you should think about moving out. Not cutting ties though, I'm forced to the extremes since my family is absolutely against me getting a full time job when I should be studying to get into college. (But I'm doing fuck all right now and I have no interests in spending the last chapter of my youth with a facial deformity.)
I don't have an underbite. I have an overjet, hence the mandibular deficiency. My jaw doesn't click tho. When I went in to see if I could get it fixed by the government they told me they only do it in cases where it's actually affecting your health(sleep apnea, etc) and that mine wasn't. So I have to pay for it myself.
Oh. Well I hope you understand when I say that it's good to see that yours isn't as severe on your facial features as is mine. But anyway, yeah, the standards for health insurance coverage are pretty high when it comes to prognathism since it's only set to help people with a physically debilitating severity.
