The chances are, they used anaesthetic. On infants, the foreskin is completely fused to the head of the penis, then they use a metal device to forcibly separate the head and the foreskin then they cut it off. The problem with seeking medical advice is that most doctors, even urologists, don't know a thing about restoration in the US. At best they'd tell you to be careful and not hurt yourself and at worst they'll flat out tell you not to do it ever. The lack of knowledge about restoration in the medical field is quite staggering. It is a genuine problem and there is almost no research about restoration at all. No hard research about before and after, nothing showing increases or decreases in tissue sensitivity, nothing. It's still just all community hearsay and anecdotal evidence at this point.
