>>25911705 It's pretty appalling that people still use FORTRAN, though it seems like the only serious alternative for heavy numerics is Numpy, which is also appalling. Though when I still did numeric computation I used GNU Scientific Library, so who knows.
>>25911873 the FORTRAN code im trying to modify is from a thesis paper from the mid 90s which borrows heavily of a thesis paper from the mid 80s so im basically stuck using FORTRAN 77 unless i want to re do the whole program in python, its not that bad but the 72 column limit is kind of annoying
