i think the only problem with that, is thats very little money to live off of, hell i was living on 1,500 a month and most people are amazed i can afford it(parents still pay for car insurance and cell phone :/). then again i live in sf bay area, if i lived in the middle of nowhere im sure 900$ a month would be enough to live on. but wouldnt you get bored eventually? dont get me wrong, im lazy and value freetime, i just got fired recently so i havent got bored of it yet but eventually this shit is going to wear thin. constantly playing vidya, browsing the chons, smoking heroin. one of the best feelings of working is feeling like you accomplished something and then get to leave and enjoy your free time even more. when all you have is freetime it becomes monotonous.

I live with my mom while she pays for food&gas and is disappointed in me. Social Security is taking their time with me so I'm thinking about starting to donate plasma for some spare change to fix/replace shit.

In America, parents seem to just stop giving a fuck about you once you turn 18. Luckily I am a pitiful pathetic mess and my mom is hopelessly passive. The two are probably related.

I heard that in Japan children live with their parents until they get married. It makes more sense to me. I'm sure it raises people to be pussies but we don't have to have more fucking people draining on society because parents want a little side project for a few years before unleashing them onto society to take on meaningless jobs that contribute nothing. Take responsibility for your parasite or don't have one. Don't make it everyone else's problem but your own.

I know where am in the US it's pretty difficult to get any welfare, especially considering that Florida doesn't have a lot of programs to begin with since we lack state taxes and usually a state with Republican governors who decide most of the policy making. I assume it's a bit easier if you're in the Northeast or out in the far west like California or Oregon.

i live in los angeles and been to san jose a few times which is kinda near you, it is enough to live off of if you are living rent free and don't mind cutting back on some stuff. i don't get out much so that saves me money...and don't get me wrong, i enjoy working too, manual labor doesn't scare me, i've farmed, done HVAC work, and a few other things. it does feel nice, but my anxiety and depression keep me from holding a job and going out in public. that's my disability.
