I fucked up robots
>Decide to make a facebook
>I had one a long time ago but deleted it
>Use my real name but no location and use a junk email and an anime pic
>Use it to join groups for anime/gay/transexual/hentai/vidya stuff that I'm into
It's someone I know irl
>Suddenly I'm being flooded with friend requests
Looks like I finally just have to just bee myself...
you can edit a setting so people can't search for you on searchengines yaknow?
>deleting facebook accounts
you can't do that either. you just 'deactivate' it. all of the content on these profiles with tags or comments can usually be reached through tags and backlinks.
My name is really common though so I didn't think it would matter.
Fuck it, all I can really do now is own it. If I deactivate it or just don't add anyone I'll look like a total beta bitch. I don't care what people think anyway.
They shouldn't be up in my business unless they want to actually be my friend anyway.
You're right. It just doesn't seem right not putting up a front like I always have. I think I'm making a bigger deal out of it than it is, no one is going to look through every page I liked and among the "normal" stuff like music and vidya find something like Bailey Jay and want to pelt me with bricks. It's honestly the 4chan "go die degenerate" mentality that's killing me. I'm not even trans, I'm Bi
>he made a Facebook account despite their EULA basically stating they sell your data and give it to the NSA
>Caring what the NSA knows about your life
What are you, a drug dealer? Who cares.
I don't understand.
>make a FB account about 8 years ago
>use real name (which is pretty distinctive)
>to this day, have had no friend requests
I figured this was typical.
>basically treat FB like a LJ account
>write shit, post pics and videos
>confident no one ever looks at it, so why not?
>he doesn't mind that the government snoops on his personal business and treats him like a terrorist
Oh, hi, NSA.
Also, what's this "fourth amendment" I keep hearing about?
>barely use facebook
>only friends are family
>no profile pic
>get part-time job
>log in to facebook
>first time in weeks
>coworkers are in suggested friends
what the fuck how does this even work???
Somehow facebook kept trying to connect me with an IRL friend even though I used a fake name. I just pretended it wasn't me.
Since you said it's a common name, can't you just say it's probably just someone with the same name and facebook messed up and that you don't use facebook yet, then make a different facebook account with your real email to use for your friends to distract them from it?
Yea I could do that...
I think I'm just gonna fill my profile up with all my interests and whatnot before I add anyone and say fuck it. These people know me so they're not gonna go into my liked pages and shit.
