They aren't. High IQ people have disproportionate difficulty with socializing, as do low IQ people, but both groups are so small that they don't make up the majority of people with difficulty socializing. It's just that with groups who identify themselves as outsiders and form an identity around nerd hobbies have this thing where individuals within those groups will try to lionize themselves by trying to come across as being high IQ.

It's a sensible strategy, because if you actually ARE high IQ normal folk will sometimes overlook your eccentricities. But they can almost always smell a faker.

i think normies and robots can both be dumb in different ways

somebody who is highly intelligent can still be an idiot due to ignorance or a lack of perspective

highly intuitive people can also be incredibly lazy, coming to vast conclusions through bits and pieces of data, and this can create quite dangerously unhealthy perspectives

my iq is 110-120, not perfect not great but I do not want a job, at all

i have things that are personally more fulfilling to me that I want to spend my time doing, and I don't want to help create a vision for someone else which I have no say in, ie being a wageslave. I want to control my own vision, and I don't want motives of profit to hinder it. This is why I isolate myself, and work on my own thing, staying within the realms of what captures my interests instead of fooling myself and thinking I'm being fulfilled with falling into a more linear path in life that fits within the status quo.

it's in that range. of course, i'm not going to get a concrete number because if I look into my psychological examination (which I had to take for other reasons), it will give me the percentile instead of a definitive number. for example, my linguistic intelligence at the 86th percentile, problem solving at 60th, spacial sense at 89th, etc

if i take a online test solely involving pattern recognition, I will score around 110-115.

that is why I assume my IQ is around 110 to 120
