SJWs aren't left or right. They're fascists. One of the main tenants of their movement is to abolish the First Amendment. "Safe spaces", etc. It's fascism dressed in "liberal" clothing.

Luckily there have been attempts to make the mainstream realize this, but there are still people (including in this thread) who still think that SJWs are anywhere on the left-right spectrum. They're a very loud and vocal minority, and nobody wants to be associated with them.

This is what actually worries me about SJW's, or the "political correctness movement" as I personally call it as I hate the "SJW" moniker. If they were just a bunch of loud idiots standing on their internet soap boxes rambling about "patriarchy" and "oppression" I'd be with the people just laughing at them and calling them a loud minority.

However they have most of the center and left leaning media singing their praises and attacking anyone and anything that they don't like. The only part of the media that doesn't pander to them are outlets like Fox News and Breitbart. I seriously hadn't even heard of Breitbart or Milo Yanopolis myself before GamerGate.

I used to identify as left, supporting things like free higher education (I live in a country that actually has it), helping the weak and underprivileged, equal treatment for all regardless of race, religion or gender, fair taxation, freedom of speech, etc. before more than half of those simply fell off the political left's agenda and were replaced with things like censorship of opinions they don't agree with, practically rolling the red carpet for women and minorities and just crazy taxation of the rich.
