Perhaps some of you autistes will know, are any of my old yugioh cards worth anything? Like is it worth my while putting these things on ebay or are they effectively waste paper at this point?

The rarest card will sell for like $30. They're worthless, just like your life.

>$30
>worthless
$30 is enough for food for a whole week or so

what about first gen pokemon cards?
OP here, just seen a few ones i have on ebay going for $10-15. Drinking money here i come.
>tfw haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh in years
I still have my deck I used to bring to tournaments and shit. When I get my own place after graduation I'm definitely bringing the deck. I don't give a fuck if nobody plays Yu-Gi-Oh anymore, those cards are my babies.

some old cards, depending on rarity and condition, can be worth a bit, but more than likely, the vast majority of your cards are worthless (i mean, don't expect to get anything out of old trash normal monsters or anything, for example)
i mean i get that that's stating the obvious, but, well, you know
generally the ones that are worth the most are recently released meta cards that are short printed and shit
just look up your cards on a card pricing website, there are tons

Check for lighting effects around the frames. If they are shadowless they are worth money. Foils if in good condition also sell well.
