Any kind of assault is never the victim's fault, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't take precautions against it.

People who say shit like, "Don't tell me to watch my drink, tell rapists not to rape" are retardedly naive.

Telling someone to take care against being vulnerable is no different than telling someone to lock their car at night.

A criminal generally knows a crime is wrong, and doesn't care. Telling a rapist not to rape won't do anything when the rapist doesn't care.

we are all victims of our primal impulses, some combination of a need to fulfill one's own will mixed with an abandonment of a society's code of ethics results in crime.
any person can be driven into such a state where it seems reasonable to commit a crime, it is not some intrinsic defect in the composition of their 'soul' or 'character', it is a result of their environment and genetics

the best we can do is to punish those acts that we deem unethical in order to retain order, 'justice' and 'guilt' are merely societal consequences of the implementation of this system, not some innate value of actions. as such, the 'blame' of any violent crime has to be put on the 'perpetrator', in order to create a stable ethical framework in which socially damaging acts are discouraged.

Not only that, it's a flawed and irrational construct. No woman on earth would care if she was raped by Chad, in fact she'd probably brag to her friends about it. How is it possible for the morality of the act to differ based solely on the physical characteristics of the rapist and the chemical reactions he causes in the woman's brain?

Men are pressured into behaving a certain way: Violent, sexual, aggressive. They're taught from day one they are the aggressors. They are told that they are feared by women. And, women are told to be afraid of them. They are told to make the moves, so be the initiate... While simultaneously being taught their advances are unwanted and disgusting. Rapists are created by the so called "toxic masculinity" that the modern feminist dialogue peddles as being a man's own fault. Being a victim of societal pressures is fine if you're a woman but, if you're a man suddenly, it's your fault that you behave the way you've been pressured and taught into behaving. It's not a woman's fault if she's cat-called while walking down the street. But, it's totally a man's fault even though he's been pressured for his entire life to behave that way; a condition only exacerbated by natural hormones and instincts.

So, in short, it's fucking society. Society fails men then, blames men for being what they've been pressured to be by the disgusting hivemind.

I think the rapist is at fault for committing the rape.
