I'm world-building right now (fantasy world). Starting to get the map together, also coming up with character names.

Hopefully, in a few months I'll be at a point where I feel like I can actually write the books.

I've been writing around 9 years for myself and random online audiences at various times. The one I'm working on now I'm going to send to agents/publishers when I've done several rounds of editing and am satisfied enough to give it a try.

I have like 15-20 notepads full of my writing, consisting theorys, personal exerecines, and trip reports.

what i did is i just forced myself to read a book. i picked a pretty shitty book and it was interesting at first but then i started to hate it. even though i hated it i just finished it. It gets easier the more you read

I now ordered 5 books online and am reading them and actually enjoying reading it for once

i'm working on two projects, actually, a sureal comic and a drama novel. i've only ever heard good things about my writing, so i'm not worried about the quality. i'm doing both purely for my own enjoyment, so i don't care if i make money or not. really, completing the two of them is my one dream in life. it'll take time, but i know i'll finish them eventually. good luck to fellow writer anons.

There's some weird disease killing people, the government is doing its best to find a cure through herbal medicine. The paedo gets sent to jail and is sent to work on one of these herb farms working as a slave looking for a cure, where he finds his talent for discovering herbal remedies.

He gets released from prison due to popular demand, does more paedo stuff before the public eventually get bored of him and forget about him and the government executes him

It's a science fiction novel following a guy in power armor in invasion of a War of the Worlds inspired Mars. It takes place over three days because that is the time the protagonist has until the life support of his suit fails.

A lot of the book is going to consist of trudging through the challenges of the alien but beautiful Martian landscape.

If you've read Steakley's Armor, the opening drop scene is what I'm trying to go far.
