Vyvanse is a specific formulation of dextroamphetamine intended to prevent abuse. Specifically, the dextroamphetamine molecule is bound to an inert amino acid, making the drug inert until it undergoes protein cleavage in the liver. This has the effect of reducing bioavailability when snorted or injected or used in any other unintended route of administration.

You can cleave the amino acid yourself by reflux boiling a solution of the drug in water where the pH has been made acidic. I would probably use citric acid (lemon juice).

XR, 40 mg. Started yesterday.

ADD symptoms are all there, but I felt very upbeat and positive yesterday. No effect today. Going to my psychiatrist tomorrow.
