I get 3 days off. I work 4 10 hour days. Although tomorrow is a holiday so I get paid day off so I get 4 this week.

I run my own business and thought a lot about making it a 4 day week.

In the end though I decided to stay with the conventional weekend. I realised that a 4 day week would also mean giving up 20% of my income.

The weekend as we know it is actually the product of a long fought battle between laborers and employers. Back in the day it was Sunday only due to religious reasons. It's all supply and demand. If people need the job enough, weekends and holidays are on the table (such as retail) but if the work is skilled and the employee is more valuable, then their schedule is more forgiving.

Camp jobs are usually 21 days on then 7 days off.

I work 3 days one week and 4 the next. The 4 day week is 3 12 hour shifts and one 8 hour shift. Hospital jobs m8.

Not usually. At a hospital you will likely go "hands on" aka have to restraint people physically because people get put on mental health/alcohol holds by doctors which is basically an arrest against their will and cannot leave.

Then you have your disorderly patients, substance abusers, homeless etc. to troll you.

If you want an easy gig avoid hospitals and colleges for security.
