it's just a tool. all you have to do is pray. it's a specific prayer. like the sinners prayer or the salah prayer. all you need to do is say the words in your head and it works. memorize them and say them until your heart feels not negative.

what do you mean? Meditation is a mental tool. Prayer is a soul heart tool. Meditation clears your mind but it's not god. Praying to god is the same as meditation. Different process.

Meditation is good shit. I was deeply religious as a young teen but kind of fell out of the whole thing. I find prayer is as helpful for my well being as gym or meditation though. I suggest doing ollall three. I still have a lot of stress, but it's like I'm OK with it. I gym to make my body feel good, I meditate to clear my mind, it's a lot like gym in that way, and prayers help me to relax and sleep.
Meditation is the easiest though. I'd start with just taking a shower in the dark. Focus on belly breathing, the water running, or nothing at all, just good relaxation. Baths are even better. Really you're just looking for 15 minutes of time to yourself. It may not solve the problems but it makes them way easier to carry.
