I'd really likes Eric and Dylan when I was a teenager. They were a symbol. Then I realized that they weren't at all like me, and weren't really ostracized at school, so I stopped giving a shit about them. Still, I think of them fondly. They gave inspiration to many school shooters, and gave the bullied kids something to fantasize about at lunch time.

I became more obsessed about Columbine than any other. I went through a few months of obsessively poring over every detail of the case and reading as many books about the shooting as possible.

But I think my favorite school shooting story is Mitchell Johnson and Andrew Golden, a 12 year old and a 14 year old who set up rifles in the woods outside their middle school, pulled the fire alarm and picked off kids as they ran out. They were so young it really amazes me how they could have such murderous rage in fucking middle school. I hated middle school too but damn
