>about to graduate from college
>just learned that people shouldn't wear tennis shoes and sneakers everywhere
>finally realized that I dress like an autist
Fucking hell, what other crazy shit have I missed out on? :( why did no one tell me about these things?
You haven't understood autism shoes properly at all
Shoes in the STYLE of pic related are autism shoes, not all sneakers.
Other classic examples of autism are baggy cargo shorts, cheap, shapeless blue dad jeans, military boots, and hiking shoes.
You're not supposed to wear tennis shoes everywhere? Well shit. I must have asperg as well. My wardrobe consists of
>polo shirt (khaki with black horizontal stripes)
>black Hanes socks (long not those gay ass footies)
>black Adidas tennis shoes white Adidas logo
Has been that way for the past seven years, switch out the khakis for black jeans whenever khakis go to the washer, or pajamas when both are in wager. Shirt switches out for an Adidas "speed kills" XXL (it's two sizes bigger than me lmao)
>tfw wear tennis shoes
>tfw they are black
>mfw not autism shoes even though they are functionally identical
What is wrong with sneakers? Should you wear dress shoes? Why are sneakers the official "autism shoe" when jocks wear sneakers to play sports. What about sandals, flip flops or crocks? That's much more autistic in my opinion.
>he thinks the colour makes any difference!
You're presenting as autistic, stop deluding yourself
Try actually reading the thread, you retard. It isn't all sneakers, it's cheap, clunky pensioner and downie tier walking shoes like pic related. Stop going out of your way to prove to people that you're an idiot.
You're so fucking autistic you have to ask those questions. Wearing running shoes as daily footwear is an obvious social reject stereotype. Same with wearing faggot thrifty shoes. Buy a pair of Vans for fuck's sake. Or any other "normal" footwear.
I wear black sneakers with VELCRO.
I legit do not give a fuck. If people think i'm straight up retarded, that's cool. I hate tying shoes. Also they make me feel slick.
ITT: robots with undiagnosed autism fail to comprehend the difference between fashionable, modern casual sneakers and haggard as fuck old people walking shoes.
Op, I need you to take this post in particular more serious than any other post in this thread.
Wearing tennis shoes casually and in public is normal.
People who say that they make you look like a man child are trolling and have been for several months now. Recently there has been an influx of those types of posts, and I can't explain any way other than trolls.
I've been wearing sneakers forever, I'm 21, and I never get commented on them. Even my dad wears them. I see people wear them all the time.
I'm trying to stop this meme breaking into reality, but I just have to rely on people using common sense. You should do so as well.
>>just learned that people shouldn't wear tennis shoes and sneakers everywhere
The only time you shouldn't wear tennies or sneaks is at work. Otherwise it's fine. No one cares.. and if they do? They need to get a life.
When you wear them with dad jeans or cargo shorts, you look like you're special needs
thats not a casual sneaker you fucking autist.
pic related is
Nigger that's exactly why. They're exclusively for running. Unless you're doing a full-on workout, you best not be wearing them. I can't believe I have to explain common social norms to you fucks.
Don't believe this guy. I'm not trolling, I'm trying to help out your social life. I don't associate with people who wear fucking sneakers/running shoes in public, and neither does anyone else who has any sort of social awareness.
DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS PERSON!
As numerous people have explained, wearing sneakers IS NOT autistic. Wearing the type of sneakers in the photos IS autistic.
That looks fucking hideous. Why would anyone wear that? I would much rather wear a white newbalance shoe than that. Not that I wear white new balance shoes, I stopped wearing those in 10th grade
This is surreal. Do you actually work for a shoe company or something? Are they THIS DESPERATE to get people insecure about their shoes to buy new ones?
Some people prefer function over form, and sneakers are a good shoe for walking. Literally go fuck yourself with a shoehorn.
I've never been retarded enough to wear socially unacceptable shoes unless I'm actually working out.
It's really disgusting how you guys are so blind you think it's a meme. I mean sure, "autism shoes" the phrase is a meme. But wearing these sneakers posed in the thread is looked down upon by anyone who has any sort of social awareness. How can you guys not see it?
>STILL clinging to the all sneakers maymay
most of my shoes are running or hiking shoes.
they are a lot more comfortable than some stupid normie sneaker like adidas normiestar.
>socially acceptable shoes
As long as your shoes don't light up when you stomp on them, there is literally no such thing.
Obviously barring shoes for specific types of events like formal shoes.
It's not the brand that's the problem (although Newbalance tends to be the flagship brand of retards), it's the type of shoe. What's so difficult about buying a socially acceptable shoe? Or a fashionable shoe? Get yourself a pair of flat Vans or something.
Is it really that hard to comprehend that there are different types of sneakers and some are more socially accepted than others?
Seriously, just go outside and look at what attractive people are wearing
I still don't get why WHITE shoes are autistic shoes. Its bullshit memes like you who don't have any stories or evidence and just keep spouting
>I can't believe you don't know this!
Was the caption that clearly explains it not clear enough for you?
Autism shoes IS NOT about the brand, it is about the style. Average walking shoes made for elderly worn by young adults is pure autism
I'm all for function/comfort over aesthetics. That is until it becomes socially unacceptable. Sure, literally nobody will make comments to you about your shitty shoes, but it's an immediate flag saying "this person is socially unadjusted, do not associate with." You really make /r9k/ seems as socially retarded as people think it is.
So you're saying they're ok for adults to wear.. but not young adults? This is fucked up bullshit you're spewing.
Literally no one thinks that. It doesn't make sense. There is no REASON for people to think that.
There is nothing wrong with wearing tactical boots. They are practical, comfortable, and they look good. Mine also have a protective toe and have zippers on the side so I don't have to bother with laces.
Also, I noticed you didn't mention hiking boots or work boots, which is good because there is nothing wrong with wearing them either, although tactical boots look better and have a side zipper.
Its not like the acceptable shoes fucking hurt your feet. Sure the sneakers may be more comfortable. Have fun enjoying the comfort of your feet while everyone else enjoys the comfort of a normal social life with friends and dates.
You're the one saying it's white shoes. Black autism shoes are just as autistic. I'm going to type this one last time so pay attention. Autism shoes is about the STYLE of the shoe - not the colour and not the brand.
I'm mocking you for the same reason as >>25786838
Eh, if you're relatively fit and your "running shoes" have noticeable wear and tear from obvious extraneous outdoor use, it doesn't matter.
Only people with no personality, no skills, or no real talent at anything care about what their clothes look. I wear the pair of new balances I got in basic training because they're the first fitted shoe I ever got and the support is amazing.
Wearing clothes based off utility is a man thing. Wearing clothes based off looks is a woman thing.
I didn't say anything about people getting offended. If you want to live in a normalfag world, you have to wear the same clothes as normalfags to fit in, which is the opposite of being an attention whore
will you fuckers stop? I am already confused enough. Are tennis shoes and sneakers autistic or not?
I was thinking of just picking up new clothes and new shoes this weekend. Hopefully, some normie girl helps me dress differently so I don't look like an actual STEM retard.
Oh, so you're telling me how to dress for a date?
Thanks for the advice, but if a bitch turns me down because of my shoes, then I'll consider myself lucky.
Also you're a faggot for spouting this nonsense.
No, I'm saying it's OK for pensioners to wear comfortable walking shoes designed for them and tactile obsessed downies, but it isn't OK when you're a young adult with numerous other options
this, if you're /fit/ then who gives a damn if you wear your jogging/hiking boots. There are certain exceptions, like wearing muddy as fuck boots and getting everyone's shit dirty when you dont need boots, but same fuckin point.
>the difference between fashionable, modern casual sneakers and haggard as fuck old people walking shoes
Uh maybe you're the autist for seeing the difference when there's none. Or am I being memed?
If it's about the style, then give me the exact details that make a shoe autistic. From the images posted in this thread, they are aesthetically similar, plain, and non-insulting.
pic related is about what i wear
also have about 10 running shoes in stock in case some get old and stinky
No they arent. Faggot memes in this thread will tell you they are because of their own insecurities. I've never met anyone in the real world who was uncomfortable around me because of my shoes.
who here /next-level autism/? I wear shoes similar to ones pic related almost all the time.
Do you even go outside? I consider myself a shut in, but all the people I have known couldn't give two shits about something so insignificant. Then again, I choose not to associate with dumb, shallow people.
there are a lot of different types of sneakers
generally, avoid chunky shoes that look like these
post a pic of shoes you'd want to get and i'll tell you if they're autistic or not
tennis shoes are always wrong except when playing tennis or at least some indoor sport.
sneaker are always a good choice, although i would prefer some sport sneaker becaus ethey are more comfortable
OP, buy yourself a shoe like this. This is one of the most normal shoes you can get right now. Assuming you're between 18-30.
Okay autists, lesson one. Buy these and wear them everyday.
Nah, normies wear it and look great all the time. It's just when ugly, greasy looking robots like us wear them that they become autistic. Same goes for trench coats.
>tfw used to wear black metal t-shirts everywhere, from school to family gatherings and funerals
Can we make a list of autismcore clothing to avoid?
ITT: Autists think there's a big conspiracy to meme them into believing they're autistic when in fact they're actually autistic.
ITT: People getting upset for people telling them how to improve their lives.
>autism shoe thread
>there's always that guy who thinks he's qualified to decide what shoe or clothing is "autistic" and violently berate people who disagree with his opinions on the fashion statement men's tennis shoes make
>he doesn't realize this makes him the ultimate spergtard
Oh...and its not autistic when Chad wears it you cuck. Enjoy blowing your disability check on /fa/s recommendations and your delusions about making it because Stacy looked at your retarded ass a 1/10 of a second longer when you're at GameStop with Mum.
basically, nobody will actively harass or belittle you for wearing autism shoes. but, they will notice and they will think you're weird for wearing them because they just don't flatter you. they make you look worse and will basically exclude you from the dating pool. if you're ok with these things, obviously it's fine to wear them.
or you could just choose any number of normie shoes that are just as comfortable, cheap, and don't make you look like a social outcast
Who here /suiteveryday/. I wear one pretty much everywhere. It looks extra good and people give me respecting looks. Once you go suit, you never go back.
pic related, similar.
Lowtop vans/levis can still make you look like a fucking autist when worn with ill fitted jeans. It's a step up, but it's still pretty bad. Basically, autists need to buy clothes that fucking FIT. Not what's "comfortable".
That's like saying "I'm still waiting for you memes to give a checklist of what aspects of a song would make it good". There are socially acceptable genres of music and then there are fucking niche genres that people would find weird. It's not like a "x +y = faggot shoe" it's just easy to tell for anyone who is socially adjusted.
WHAT EXACTLY ARE AUTIST SHOES!
I WEAR TENNIS SHOES AND RUNNING SHOES, but what the fuck type of normie shoes should I buy. I'm aspie, just link me a picture.
This type of advice is like the "just be yourself" response.
>It's just when ugly, greasy looking robots like us wear them that they become autistic.
>I can't look at the numerous examples posted in this very thread and work it out
>making up silly stories to feel better about yourself after being triggered by the truth
have you ever considered woman aren't the borg and they don't all have the same thoughts and feelings. i really despise your attitude coming onto this chinese image board telling people what's fashionable. do you understand "theory of mind"? you might actually have autism anon
Most people look around and analyze their surroundings to determine what is "normal". You clearly don't, but I must say you're doing well to have some self awareness. Emulate normal people in a general sense, don't copy them exactly but attempt to pick out elements of normal behavior/appearance and you will prosper my dear assburger
Here's what I wore today. Rate my outfit please.
>oh my gosh this guy can't tell!
>how shameful that this person who doesn't understand what I'm talking about...
>doesn't understand what I'm talking about because I refuse to explain my reasoning!
>what a sad autistic retard!
running shoes are god tier, they are comfortable and most of them look good, so just keep waering them.
but dont weart meme shoes like nike free
and never ever wear indoor, soccer, football, tennis shoes outside, especially white ones, people will look down on you, just because of your shoe
>implying I know shit about shoes
I work in a big shoes shop department
Here's another shoe I think would be acceptable.
Just wear oxford shoes like these. They are respectable and fit most occasions.
>comparing music to visual
Try harder. You still haven't explained why any shoe in this thread looks autistic or not. Give 1 example, and POINT OUT what makes it autistic
THIS MEME SUCKS
>don't wear cheap ratty clothing you fucking disgusting autists
thanks for the advice! really needed someone to give me that advice.
>/r9k/ is an imageboard where there are no exact reposts.
>Talks about "autism shoes" no one in the real world actually cares about for days.
This board sucks. There's only like 4 topics of conversation in which you paraphrase (or shitpost, alternatively) each other endlessly.
Why are being hysterical and ignoring the posts that have explained this to you with photos?
I just got here but I don't know why anybody who give robots fashion advice. I only help people that actually want my help and are willing to change. Robots probably think they dress okay or don't care so they're not worth helping. What a person wears is extremely important in the real world. It shows off your personality without you having to say anything.
Everyone above this line has been trolled
No one gives a fuck if you wear sneakers.
Everyone below this line is trolling.
>being this fuckin guy
Hey guys remember its not autistic when Chad wears it! :)
Wearing pricey fashionable clothing will just make you look like a sperg whose mommy has good taste, that's why none of the fashion experts on these threads ever mention how dressing better helps them. Because it fucking doesn't, they're still the same hopeless cucks.
>some fashioncuck is gonna defend himself by talking about how his clothing finally got him laid in his 20s, like that's not utterly pathetic
>autism shoe thread
>there's always those butthurt autists who don't understand what autism shoes are despite having had it explained very clearly and get angry when people call them out for being idiots
Hold the fuck up, are you trying to tell me that you robots don't think well-fitting clothing is comfortable? I always assumed you guys buy the baggy jeans/cargos/autism shoes because they were cheap at Walmart or something.
THREAD IN A NUTSHELL:
You have autism? Buy better clothes!
If you cannot look at the shoes posted and observe that they are aesthetically ugly compared to other shoes AND recognise that the only people who wear them are prepubescent boys, old people, and the intellectually disabled, then what more can anyone tell you?
The autism is blocking your ability to process things other people naturally comprehend
I'm in CS and I've seen that, first major difference is it's a university (UCF). My shit is as follows:
>teal hoodie on sale from Express or some shit
>Prog Rock shirt
>slim/straight fit dark jeans of correct size
>Chuck Taylors or Puma El Ace 4's
I think it's the subtle changes in pants and shoes that makes all the difference
Was that so fucking hard to say?
I ask like 5 times for a description and you're the first to say anything.
Yeah, I can understand how big shoes could look weird, but not a lot of people Except niggers wear big shoes.
>light blue jeans that significantly drape over the shoes
ayy lmao I know there is at least one fucker here does this. Please respond.
>actually thinking there's any difference worth mentioning!
>trying to use big boy words like pretentious when you don't understand them.
Normies here this anon is correct we wouldn't actually tell you robots its wrong to wear them but when you're not around we will laugh at you autist. Heck even in my whatsapp group we keep making fun of a loser in my uni class about his shoe. Wake up autist realize that people wont openly admit that its a stupid shoe irl. Use your common sense and avoid getting laughed at from behind for fuck sake theres no hope for you autist is it?
Why are you spelling it that? Your numbers aren't impressive whatsoever either. I had my first gf at 17, I've fucked more women than you, and idgaf about shoes or whatever.
>tfw short legs
>tfw always have to cuff the jeans so i won't step on it
i was born to cringe
I don't even wear the dumb old people sneakers but these threads are dumb as fuck. Congrats on being /fa/ you cuck, you're still a robot and you haven't mentioned how not "looking autistic" has helped you, which leads me to believe it hasn't.
Anyone asking `but why?` is asking people to explain the psychology of trends and historical importance of aesthetics.
People will think you don't take care of yourself or take pride in how you carry yourself. But taking pride garners respect. So you don't have to change how you dress, but people will still make petty judgements if you don't and no you can't change that with logic and reason. It shows unawareness to the world around you and a backseat mentality. But if you're a truly euphoric robot that wouldn't bother you would it?
I've done that for years. At least since the start of high school maybe since middle school.
Also, I >>25787503 forgot to post my hat
I go to a ghetto ass college, so I can get away with wearing almost anything because the poor people think I'm one of them and I'm just wearing what's in my closet.
>button up shirt
>baggie pants or Costco brand pants
>white sneakers or brown casual shoes
I may dress weirdly, but truth be told I don't really care and neither does anyone else. I have to dress a certain way for work. My work demands a button up shirt and a lot of running. Jeans I can litterally sit on the floor with and run outside in.
Poor people dress just as bad as me. No one gives a fuck.
Once you get to be a certain age you stop caring as well. I don't care anymore at least
I get paid minimum wage. I'd prefer to buy food than spend that money on clothes. If shallow fagoots like >>25787233 think i'm autistic i don't give a shit. Seriously, after high school you stop worrying so much about what people think of you.
Chad doesn't wear autism shoes, or autism clothes. Your problem is you think all clothing items are created equal, so Chad in a pair of zx fluxes and a pair of fitting cargos is the same to you as a fat sperg wearing skechers and baggy, 3/4 length cargo jorts
The entire shoe is autistic, there is no one specific feature because the entire aesthetic presented by the people who wear shoes like this is pure autism.
Look at the sneakers in this thread. Look at the sneakers normal people wear. Use your fucking brain.
Okay, so for anyone who doesn't get why this is autism styling, I will explain.
Look at the shape of the shoe and the detailing. These shoes are unshapely and tastelessly covered in unecessary buts a leather and plastic and whatnot. They just look cheap as fuck. Your eyes aren't drawn to any point on the shoe that is pleasing when looking at them. There's no definition or purposeful styling going on here. Plastic and tacky. The toeboxes are too large, the shoes are too wide and clunky, the logo is always too small or fucked with in some way. These are all shoes for the lowest common denominator, its obvious whoever made these just did not give a fuck about what they were designing cause they aren't supposed to look good. They just need to be cheap so mothers with autist children and old people have something to cover their feet with. Now think for a second about how all of that reflects on you.
I've seen you in these threads before. Those boots look like cinderblocks attached to a pipe on the top. Plus they look cheap and plastic. So they're autism, especially depending on what you wear them with. Hopefully not blue jeans.
Which is why i said size up or roll them to make them fit better, you are more than capable of finding jeans that fit and it's a simple change that can make a big difference. Nothing looks more autistic then ankle swinging shoe brushing jeans.
They are not Cheaply made. They are made for professional use. I do not wear blue jeans with them. I wear tactical pants, such as 5.11 TRU Spec.
Oh okay, I'm a step behind in what I mentioned and precalc, so my calc I will be over the summer with whatever I can manage while taking summer calc
Seriously considering taking calc at Valencia lmao
These are the shoes I wear. They squeak every time I take a step.
Should I get different shoes?
OH FUCK WE GOT AN OPERATOR OVER HERE
Plus I said they look cheap dipshit. Anything made specifically for modern law enforcement are military guys is really fucking cringy to wear as a civillian. Especially when it all looks bulky as shit and cheap. I don't care how "well made" those boots are, they look like fucking shit. Wearing all that shit in public and not out innawoods or whatever the fuck you do makes you look like some wannabe military airsoft playing COD worshipping manchild.
Of course if you don't care what you look like thats fine, but you seem to think you're above the autism in this thread. You're not.
dankest 3 hours of the week for sure :^)
Not even the case. More of a public service announcement that you don't even need to take an interest, but by buying at least decent clothes you can make a difference to your day to day life.
Ok I agree my autism. shoes suck. Make fun of me. Call me "autist". I literally have autism. Are you happy? I'm autistic and I wear velcro sneakers. I like wearing because I have autism.
It is socially acceptable to be gay. It's illegal to discriminate against them, they can get married in quite a few countries, there are numerous famous and beloved homosexuals...
You're definitely emotionally 13.
I wear not-cheap (90 Euros) black leather shoes everywhere. Can I get opinions on what that classifies as? they look somewhat like pic related
ah so you ARE gay, now that you're trying this hard to defend homos. it's too bad the moment you take one step outside cuckmerica you get stoned for being a gay faggot. still butthurt still gay.
hey non autistic faggot here. never posted on this shitty board before. Sneakers arent autistic. Here's my current ones.
>mfw i apparently live in autismland
Oh, I'd like to add that the fact that you can't find a photo of your actual shoes is worrying. Either they're so generic that they don't have a brand or you're not good enough for a google search.
>non autistic faggot here
I have some jeans that fit very well and some that don't but I'm too much of an idiot to not wear the ones that don't fit. In general for pants I wear dark blue/black jeans. In summer I used to wear cargos but I now learned that they're apparently a cardinal sin so I'll probably trash them for next summer.
I generally wear one-color t-shirts. Different colors, white, black, red, green... Hoodies or hoodie jackets above that if necessary, rarely non-hoodie sweatshirts. the color revolution hasn't really reached those yet (mostly quite dark).
I'm afraid I wear those shoes everywhere, all the time. Even in summer.
I don't need to justify my post to some angry kid having a sperg out. The point was to give an example of nice sneakers to wear around. Go shit in a bottle or something you faggot.
>listening to 4chan memes
Been wearing running shoes since childhood. Most practical type of shoes for urban living. Lol @ casual shoes.
I remember when i wore the coverse casual shoes at 16-18. Couldnt even run with them.
Rather be called an autist by random people who ill never meet irl thanks.
check my autism shoes faggots and check these trips too
Those aren't autistic.
Everyone just buy hightop converse. They go with anything other than formal wear and will never really go out of fashion to the point where they are cringey.
Get a pair of vans or converse if you really don't want to think. They go with every casual outfit and pants.
Get some brown oxford style shoes (non shiny so they're casual) for when you need to dress up a little.
it's really not about being "/fa/" you mong. it's just making a simple choice that doesn't cost you anything but makes you one step closer to being at a point where people's first impression of you is that you're a normie and not an autist.
nobody's telling you to go out and buy a dozen expensive pairs of shoes, just to spend the exact amount of money on a pair of normie shoes just as comfortable as autist shoes.
sorry dude. obviously this thread isn't for you. it's for the autists who vehemently deny their autism
sheit mayne. I think I have those socks, aren't they itchy without liners?
>has spent an hour defending homosexuality and his orientation because someone called him gay
>but i totally don't care guys!!!! if i keep posting "u mad" and "no u" he will go away!
You're right, but you can't argue with an autist who gets angry and thinks you're some obsessed with /fa/ idiot. The hyperbole and accusations is how they cope with news they don't like
>he thinks making calm, factual statements in response to his angry, closeted ranting is defending homosexuality.
You're far too emotional and easily triggered (like a homosexual) to engage in these sorts of discussions, anon.
I actually want some tacky white sneakers like this >>25787744 >>25787430 >>25787002 >>25786794 >>25786766 >>25786611
I believe if I lean into the autism vibe, maybe it will be a hipsterautism-chic look
>NO IM NOT!!!!!
>yes you are
>BUT IT'S OKAY TO BE GAY
>no it's not
>BUT NO U
this is you 1h30m into this thread. keep being gay lmao
I see your statement and raise you my ChewiGem oral fidget.
Nice b8 mate.
Square toed shoes are the autism shoes for formal occasions.
>Wore shoes like these at school because of the uniform requirements and didn't want to ruin my good shoes.
this was the greatest argument in 4chan history. Bravo.
STUDY IT. LEARN IT. IT WILL HELP YOU.
EVERY QUESTION YOU HAVE CAN BE ANSWERED IN THIS POST.
>those shoes, that watch, and that hoodie all look ridiculous.
In terms of the jeans, I don't see why it matters if I wear black or blue jeans. Also, aren't blue jeans extremely common and popular?
In terms of the underwear, I don't see how that matters at all, it's not like anyone will see what underwear you are wearing.
I know how to dress. Well, except for tying a tie, I still don't know hoe to do that, but I know how to do everything else. I did have trouble learning to tie my shoes though and couldn't really do it until I was about 10yo.
Oh I know, I can do this too.
Use a waited blanket! It's not at all Autistic.
>posting this repeatedly
is this a new meme, or are you actually the autistic one here?
I had a pair once, they are. They also fall apart as soon as winter hits. straight-cut 4 lyfe.
Because you don't know what "normie fashion" is, and are just reading /fa/. /fa/ can only barely dress itself, and I'm surprised the board hasn't died because all the users literally died of cold or weather-related injuries.
So when did you realise that autism shoes is an actual thing that people judge you on and not just an /r9k/ meme?
>We have to work christmas eve in my office for my new job I started in November
>They let us wear our own clothes
>I slip into my usual home clothing including my sneakers
>Go into work feeling happy with how I am dressed
>Sit down at my desk
>The girl on the desk opposite me (we don't even have cubicle walls) looks at my feet
>'Wow anon, those are some weird shoes'
>everyone looks at my feet
>people start commenting
>'those are the sort of shoes my little brother would wear'
>some chad starts making jokes
>'anon should step in some dog shit to improve his fashion sense'
>'can you imagine when anon went to buy those?'
>starts mimicking my voice (which is apparently deep and squeaky)
>'oh hello I'm anon I already walk like a freak so I need some big wobbly shoes to make it even worse'
>try to join in the mockery to show I am fun
>'a-actually I stole these sneakers from a homeless man with aspergers, I tricked him by trading him a toy train'
>someone says 'ok then'
Jesus I hate this shit,
Not paying for new sneakers though, fuck that
>tfw got a pair of autism shoes for Christmas
>tfw asked specifically not to be gifted anything
I don't buy the whole "autism shoe" thing but I think it's any feature-heavy running shoe with a lot of visual clutter.
Something like a solid color suede skating shoe would probably be more acceptable to wear.
I have a pair of those and >>25787236 is correct.
>implying any of you know how to polish shoes/boots
Honestly, baggy clothes are not as comfortable as properly-fitting ones.
I'm just waiting until flared pants come back into style.
I seriously feel like murdering people who wear skinny jeans, and that's literally everyone these days.
That and the lightly coloured shorts.
I seriously can't wait until people realize how stupid they look. Modern clothing is seriously the worst cringe of the past 50 years.
Hiking Shoes are not the same thing as Hiking Boots.
>suddenly had realization that I dress like shit my second year of college
>changing the way I dress made me look better but literally changed nothing else
Wardrobe won't save you from a shit personality lad, it's just too late for some of us..
No, I am not trolling. You clearly have never worn tactical boots. Otherwise you would know how comfortable and practical they are. Also, they look good, especially if you polish them regularly.
You're not supposed to polish "tactical" boots, you blacken them (if they're even black)
That said, I have a pare of goretex "sea boots" and ffffff they are warm, they are comfy, and they look pretty nice. Shitty tread, though, I slip n' slide everywhere on snow/ice, it's bullshit.
Trench coats, autismo shoes and combat boots will never be in style
However there's obviously going to be a rebound in fashion in the coming years. Emphasis on collars, jackets, long sleeves, slightly formal wear. Pic related bottom right minus the jacket is what all guys will be wearing, with pants that fit well but bunch up towards the bottom. Everyone will cringe at the skinny jeans that become narrower as it approaches the feet.
Girls will be dressing more moderately/ "boring." The cozy green hoodies, hands in pockets, curley hair. Skinny jeans with bunches at the feet. That "skater" look minus the fagginess.
This is all due to how society is adapting to the internet. You'll get less "special unique girls" who "express themselves" through excessive consumerism, and more people thinking sensibly. + the seclusion/ shyness that comes with being hooked on technology making them not want to flaunt their outward appearance in the real world so excessively.
I'm still trying to kill my autism shoes by wearing them into the ground 2 years after buying new shoes, they refuse to die; what do I do lads, just throw them away!?
autism shoes > loafers > nice leather boots
Not nearly as emphasized, but the bottoms of these jeans + a more "tight fitting" formal top will be the general look.
Skinny jeans that cut off just a bit above foot screams this kind of faggy autism. Like the guy who date rapes, or manlets. The "flared" skinny jeans give off a more grounded/ cozy-as-a-nice-coat impression. The emphasis/ focus will be placed on collars and the bottom of legs in later fashion, I can say with confidence.
Come back and say that in 5-10 years, and looking at people aged ~20.
No, where the jeans fall on the shoe looks sloppy as shit. Ideally the jean should fall just right above the shoe for no break or maybe a very very slight break. Also flared jeans are always bad imo. They accentuate the bottom of your sillouette too much and make you look shorter and close to the ground.
Can someone who wears these New Balance shoes tell me what theyre for? I always pick running shoes so i dont know what those autism shoes are actually for? Are they for power walking, circuit training?
Welp. Checked them out. Im not worthy of such shoes
>They accentuate the bottom of your sillouette too much and make you look shorter and close to the ground.
Anything that does this is literally what I'm saying will be popular. "Flared" is too much of an exaggeration, but people WILL have their jeans extra long and bunching up just over their shoes.
Pic related is an exaggerated sillouette of where emphasis is focused.
I'm ahead of my time, people 3-6 years younger than me like all the same styles, music, and aesthetics as I do, while I can't relate to my peers in anything.
You know those "born in wrong generation" faggots
While they romanticize the past, while I romanticize the present/ near future. It's always a 5 year gap with my interests as well.
I legitimately tried to stop this outlook/ act like I know everything (no one does) but it's so fucking constantly the case that it's impossible for me to think otherwise.
The only person that pulls off flared pants is Jotaro Kujo and he's a Jojo character. Like really, dude? I mean, I'm not saying that you should always wear skinny jeans, if you've got fat legs just go straight cut. Your predictions are totally baseless, btw, unless an 00's revival happens in the future and I don't think I can stomach that.
How so? When the pants stop above the shoe with a strong taper and no break it accentuates your legs and makes them look longer, making you look taller. Plus, there's no pointless extra material flapping around your ankles. It's clean and minimal. And I'm not saying skin tight and 30% elastene, that's faggotry, but having clothing that hugs your body in general gives you a slimmer profile and accentuates the vertical aspect of your body, thus you appear taller.
>When the pants stop above the shoe with a strong taper and no break it accentuates your legs and makes them look longer, making you look taller.
When they hug around the thighs and muscles of the lower leg, coming to a thin pointed end, it honestly exaggerates a more "short" feeling. I don't know how to explain it, but it's got something to do with logarithmic scales and grouping stuff.
I honestly think the opposite of what you said is true.
>the open button-up to cover moobs
>the t-shirt that shows a weird amount of neck/chest
it's a me
Is this autistic? This is generally what I wear.
What should I change?
>I am a fat fuck if that helps you /fa/gs
my dad wears autism shoes and he's very far from being autistic. he's very skilled in everything practical and he knows how to fight. he's also a 8/10. he just dresses like shit.
Anon why did nobody tell you that Aspergers is a meme to stop losers from being bullied?
I think that's alright if you wear those pants with those boots. sober clothing.
anyway if anyone wants to truly dress right they need to wear a suit. anything else is pretty much just a poor attempt at individuality or just wanting to be comfortable.
i've been wearing these for a while
are they autism shoes? once someone looked at my shoes and did that "WHAT ARE THOOOSE" but then he said "just kidding"
and it's funny and how retards on r9k come here because they are autistic and dont fit in yet always get talked shit for not behaving like a stupid normie
stop talking shit on normies if you really advocate we all act like them, stupid doublethink
How much of an autist/10 I am if I wear these daily?
i think it's alright
i don't really like polo shit in general though, this one qt chick was like "nice shoes" to me once though so I guess it works
i really don't understand this shit, I never pay attention to other people's shoes
Do you always make sure your belt matches your shoes color? First rule if men's fashion anon.
Also after you graduate college, just stop wearing t-shirts out the house unless you're working out. Causal button downs, polos, sweaters, etc are always better.
Literally the ugliest shoe I have ever seen.
Better off with autistic sneakers. At least then you don't look like you are trying.
>thinks these are genuine REAL problems
tl;dr if you haven't went through anything that traumatic
protip: divorces don't count
then you have NO excuse for being Robot.
Fuck off you degenerate autists and change your lives you pathetic sacks of shits, if you can't even change your life you might as well just an hero right now.
Also don't make excuses of how you think the NEET life is actually quite good, you know it isn't and you long for meaningful relationships no matter how much you delude yourself from your innate human nature.
Yes, perfect, buy another pair of shoes, and sandals you don't want to have smelly feet in summer, and you need some dress shoes for special occasions. Don't forget to buy fitting trousers and socks. Where is your nearest mall? I think people there would love to help you. Don't you want a girlfriend or two? Im sure it would be a blast driving her home in your car playing the latest kendrick lamar album.
what? no, every other normie wears this now (and it actually looks decent usually), coat of auts would be probably some polar fleece jacket, i wear these all the time in the city and am ashamed for myself
What's wrong with a fleece jacket?
I used to wear them all the time, but then I lost my last one. I'm planning to get a new one soon. One of the North Face ones.
BTW: This >>25787503 is me.
Need help is pic related an autism shoe?
guys it's not about the individual shoes
for example at some point it might be in fashion that sneakers and jeans are worn
the idea is that what you wear just shows to others that you have no sense of what is currently 'in' popular culture and what is derided
normies have a real us and them mentality. "we are this way, and people who aren't this way arne't us aren't cool are loser we the best etc"
so if you care and want to blend in, just look at the normie guys and copy what they wear
neet here, i made the change from sneakers to office casual shoes, from jeans to trousers. i wear t-shirts still but i wear a smart looking coat over it so it looks like i might be coming home after a hard day at the office, but in actual fact i'm a massive loser that's never worked
>even my spergelord ass worked out to change look a little to avoid the obvious presentation of a loser autist that ppl should point and laugh at
Honestly fashion pisses me off. Years ago when I had jeans that were short enough for you to see a bit of my socks, people asked me if I was preparing for "Hochwasser" (I don't know what the english term for this is but it basically means when it's flooded), now I have jeans like this and I see all the /fa/ggot types wearing jeans much shorter than I used to and wearing short socks so you can see their legs.
I wear these, how do they rate on the autism scale?
>tfw you only just realised that "normal" jeans are baggy and autistic, and that normal people wear slim jeans
be an avant savant and dont give a shit about trend-followers' opinions
i cant wait for when ppl will start wearing slackercore baggy pants due to "comfy" and i will continue wearing even tighter ones and will be ridiculed for my superiority lmao
nothing per se, they;re comfy, durable, warm while being pretty light, often even will stop most of the rain you could get in a city, its just the same thing like with wearing either tracksuit pants or "autism shoes" casually. It might look weird on th street, i know im feeling self-conscious sometimes for wearing them and probably should buy myself some more casual jacket or at least hoodie which might look just as shitty (or even more), but is more acceptable.
What color of fleece jacket do you think is best?
Black, green, red, blue?
I used to dress like that in highschool.
I ran track, cross country and I was a part of my school's running club during the winter (fastest long distance runner in my class of 600~ people).
I don't know if that made the shoes more acceptable or less since they were in terrible shape from all the running I did.
I was the walking embodiment of a smelly, acne ridden socially retarded autist.
And now I'm not. I lift weights and I dress well and I have a gf and a public facing job. Sometimes it gets better. Sometimes it doesn't.
my beloved one is in some angry crimson red, but i kinda feel like i'm wearing a stolen valor, because that's what paramedics and mountain rescuers wear here where i live, maybe i'll cop light blue next if i ever find one in men's
I'm using military boots since i was in highscool ( i'm in my twenties now)
They are comfy, warm and good looking.
Also would last a fucking lifetime.
I happen to wear all black outfits since my teens so these boots are just fine for me.
Sneakers look retarded if you aint running with them
Casual footwear is for normalfags
Military boots ftw
guys i need help
95% of the time i wear:
>solid color hanes comfortsoft t-shirt (from the packs of 4 at walmart)
>athletic shorts, usually black or navy
is that autistic? i live in Florida so the only times i wear something different is if i'm going out (which happens like twice a year) or it's really, really cold. i haven't worn jeans since 2014. also i wear socks & sneakers at the gym
>i live in Florida
You should be fine. If you lived in Minnesota yeah, that'd be hella autistic but I think you should be okay. It does depend on other factors though.
Are you a student? Do you have a job and if so what? How old are you?
A 19 year old college student can get away with that attire moreso than a 24 year old receptionist you know.
i am 22yo and i graduated a few months ago. i work as web designer / database admin. but i still live in my uni town (it's huge, like 50k students) so most people probably assume i am a student
not that it matters much though, i only ever leave my apartment to work (at a very small company) or buy groceries
>i work as web designer / database admin.
> i only ever leave my apartment to work (at a very small company) or buy groceries
Meh, you're fine then.
I'd recommend buying a few dressier outfits for going out but for your day to day stuff you should be fine.
There is Nothing wrong with wearing tactical/military boots.
You sir have good tastes.
>There is Nothing wrong with wearing tactical/military boots.
ITT:calling anything but nigger basketball shoes or what you wear autistic
If you walk around in a suit with a fedora everyday then I promise you people are laughing behind your back and thinking your autistic, we had a guy at my Uni that was a student and he wore a suit everyday and you know what his friend told me one time?
"Oh he wears it to improve his self esteem because he has none, or that is what he told me anyway."
I'm all for wanting to dress nicely like maybe a collared shirt/button up shirt but going full blown suit and tie is a bit autistic if you aren't going to a formal event. You can dress classy and nice without going all out, autistic faggot.
i need comfortable shoes to walk around in all day that dont look like shit or arent flat like the vans shoes i usually wear
are those autistic or not? will i look like a normie in them?
jesus how far this word's meaning has changed.
How the fuck do people graduate college with this kind of thinking?
It doesn't matter what you fucking put on your foot, if you're an autist in someone's eye because of those shoes you're better off not knowing them. And if you're an actual real autist then why the fuck would you care?
This is just crazy teenage shit, graduate college my ass.
fucking normies fuck you normies with your normie shoes that's why i hate shopping it's all normie shit jeans are for normies if you wear jeans you're a fucking normie neon shoes are for fucking normies fuck me
I wear trainers since their is always a chance I'll have to run at some point during the day. They are also the most comfortable.
Why does anyone here give a single fuck about social norms for fucking shoes? That's the real autism.
I don't know what's worse: people who honestly don't care how they look or people who dress horribly and think it looks good.
Then again, I suppose some people might think I dress horribly.
