Not so much in Cali as in say Kentucky or Utah. Cali is one of the most tolerant places on earth where they pass law upon law against puritanism, orthodoxy and traditional habits that they see as making life harder for certain groups of people. Cali has already or is about to even pass a law that makes it illegal to discriminate against someone convicted of a serious crime if it's been more than 5 years or something.

Now leaving relationships aside, this means an ex-pornstar can probably get a job anywhere and if there's the slightest hint that she wasnt hired or was fired or passed up for promotion she can sue. This raises her market value generally speaking and it helps her be less stigmatized in personal relationships too because of the live and let live philosophy around there.

You can catch diseases, gain stalkers, get robbed or depending on the jurisdiction get busted for sex work. Also, you have to be a fresh piece of meat to draw that type of hourly rate I am assuming, for obvious reasons.

But in my estimation only some people are tolerant of ex pornstars, ex strippers and ex hookers in Cali. Not everyone. So it's going to be enough for them to be able to walk away from it all semi OK but still with value reduced in the relationship marketplace.
