what is objectively the best shape?

>>

A hexagon

>his favorite shape has sides

circle master race

>>

Triangle since you can divide every not circular shape into triangles. Basically every shape is triangles.

>>

>liking a meme shape

>>>/reddit/

Why is everyone on this board obsessed with hierarchies and rankings.

why arent you

>>

>>25736423

>why arent you

Because I'm not autistic 2bh.

>>

Torus or Square

>>

>>25736243

I like the square, it was the first shape that allowed me to visualize in 4-D

>>

>>25736361

>he doesn't know what the best shape is

Look at this fool.

Look at him and laugh.

>>

>>25736243

The cyrcle, bc it's a infinite sides polygon <3

>>

>>25736462

But anon, all shapes are equal - all shapes are loved. :^)

>>

>>25736460

That's impossible you homo

>>

I can give you four points why a square is better then a circle or triangle.

>>

The triangle is the best shape. It is the most structurally sound.

>>

>>25736509

Disgusting trianglefag detected.

>>

>>25736460

>I like the square, it was the first shape that allowed me to visualize in 4-D

But squares are 3D.

>>

>>25736662

Squares are 2-D. Cubes are 3-D. Bravo pater familias.

>>

>>25736349

>jealous because his favorite shape doesn't have only one side

oh reddit, its possible, believe me. seeing the hypercube was one of the greatest moments of my life. i saw things as both front and back at the same time, squares weren't squares, cubes were not cubes, but everything was bent into a almost a sphere. honestly one of my favorite things to visualize

>>

>>25736243

triangle, obviously

>>

>>25738445

YO what the fuck is that. Like, what am I supposed to be looking at that's so fucking much.

>>

THE QUESTION WILL SOON BE SOLVED

>>

>>25738557

I think that's a hypercube, tesseract, a hypersphere.

>>

>>25736243

There's only one right answer.

>>

>>25736511

Fucking brainlets, when will they learn

>>

>>25736361

>what's the deal with autists and powerlevels?

>>

>>25736310

You can divide a circle into triangles too. You just need an infinite amount of them>>25736310

>>

>>25736264

cumdumpster detected. Circles are girly faggot shapes

>>

>>25736243

circles and spheres

>>

>>25736243

Triangle is physically the strongest

Square has the most practical uses

Circle has the most perfect geometric design

Although since we live in a 3D world I'm gonna be that faggot and say the best shape is the sphere

>>

I learned in a digital media production class with a cool ass professor that according to scholars who study aesthetics, the triangle is the best shape when it comes to designing art. According to the same philosopher the greatest shape is that of an acorn with pineapple-esque patterns on the side.

>>

>>25736243

stimulants (excepting methamph lel) give you that determined and in-control square, so i'll go for squares bro.

Circle is for weedlmao faggots and lazy people.

Triangle is probably mdma.

>>

>>25736243

All are incredibly mathematically significant, but if I had to pick it would probably be the circle. Probably the triangle is next, then finally the unit square.

>>

A sphere is equally strong at any give point. A triangle isn't. Neither is a cube. Objectively a sphere is more durable than the other two from that perspective.

>>

I think it works like this:

A square is defined by 4 straight 1D lines.

A cube is defined by 6 2D squares.

A hypercube is defined by 8 3D cubes.

Whenever you look up a representation of a 4D hypercube, you can always find 8 3D cubes within it, albeit deformed. This deformation is due to the projection of the 4th dimension over the 3rd, the same way the perfect 2d squares of a cube look deformed in perspective.

What i dont seem to get is if this has anything to do with time being a 4th dimension.

>>

Circle is infinite and perfect

Also surface area isn't just the square of the side but it uses pi

>>

>>25736509

Shut up. You don't know dick about shapes.

Circle is love, circle is life. If you aint masturbating to circles at least 10 times a day, you, my good sir, are a supreme faggot.

>>

>>25740857

>What i dont seem to get is if this has anything to do with time being a 4th dimension.

It doesn't.

>>

>>25736261

Hexagon is literally the best.

>>

>>25738650

CHUMIMIIIIIIN

>>

Square has the most edges

>>

Dodecahedrons are cute.

>>

>>25736243

circle's don't really exist, if I had to take one I would take a circle cause I can trade it as a rare thing, however if this was a trick question I will take the square, because a square is 2 triangles.

>tfw 125 IQ master race

>>

>>25736243

Circle because circle = infinity desu
