The first Mario Galaxy.

After that, I became an internet addict and there was no hope left.

Yeah, I really enjoy the Wii.
Played tons of games, had and still having so much fun.
Probably over a thousand hours.

The normal fags didn't ruin Nintendo yet.

Digging through the mountains of shovelware was painful, but it was cheap and had Smash Bros so I went with it. I didn't even have an HDTV at the time so a 360 wouldn't even look that different.

Also, pointer controls on FPSes was better than with joysticks.

The wii isn't a terrible console, but it was the beginning of what I'd call the "Nintendo Machine" era. You could argue it really happened with the N64 or Gamecube, but the Wii was too gimmicky for most good companies. I still have it, but I play Wii games on the Wii U instead. I only use my Wii for homebrew arcade emulator and other vidya. Anyone else do this?

Thats entirely because of the processing power.

A Gamecube was right on par with the competition, a Wii was 20 times slower.

Makes multiplats absolutely impossible without some drastic tweaks.

Yes. I played a lot of fucking brawl and Guitar Hero 3 on that thing. Although desu I probably played more gamecube on it than wii, gamecube fucking owns

I mostly played harvest moon for the hasubandos and also played some old gamecube games

I was too paranoid of putting homebrew on my Wii in fear of bricking it. I still use it for Netflix & Brawl every once in awhile
