When my parents got divorced they were all going to ignore a certain article that was in some forgotten archive just to hand my custody to my mother. My father had to jump through hoops just to get a copy of that shit and shove it in the judge's face AND my mother had to also say it was better for my father to have my custody. If it wasn't for that, I would be going through hell because my mother is an unstable piece of shit that lives in the middle of fucking nowhere, far from pretty much every high school and doesn't even have her own house.
