Who's from the north here? Or has successfully escaped from here?
Northern Scandinavia here, just got inside after shoveling snow in -20 for an hour. God damn I hate winter so much. All the snow, the cold, the darkness. I have no energy, no will, I feel tired and depressed all the time. I need to move somewhere south though the further south you go, the shittier the country it seems like.
I always thought Northern Scandinavia was pretty cool, with the mountains and all. I'm from a place where the highest hill in the country is around 300 metres.. It doesn't freeze -20 here though so I shouldn't complain, I guess.
Canada's getting pretty bad right now
just also finished shoveling my driveway for half an hour
desu living up in the north was something I actually considered before the muslims invaded all the scandinavian countries. Maybe /pol/ is right and a racewar will happen, if it doesn't then I'll stay right here in germany and wait for doomsday.
I'm from the Netherlands and I think the climate here is just fine. Our winter so far has been so mild that it still feels like it's autumn. In fact, this December was the warmest December ever, actually beating the warmest March of all time in average temperatures.
Summers tend to be pretty good imo, usually staying around 20-22 degrees average with a bit of luck.
Plus, Amsterdam's pretty great.
Sweden, northern coast
Sounds pretty great. How easy is it to get a job in say, construction there? Are the wages decent?
I honestly don't get what you're trying to say
Central swede reporting in!
>weather shifts between +5 and -5 degrees constantly
I LOVE winter - you can wear almost anything and not get super sweaty, the snow creates a neat landscape/view, the cold keeps my computer cool...
And what kind of fucking normie are you to complain about the dark?
>not using curtains all around the year with no light on in my room^
Canadabro checking in.
>living in sask
Just miles and miles of this for hours aboot 10 mins out of town.
>tfw Wisconsin is on the same latitude as Britain but has the climate of inland Scandinavia
Does Estonia count? It's almost as cold. I'm seriously thinking of giving up on my career and live and just moving to Thailand or somewhere like that. Human beings weren't meant to be this cold ;__;
>tfw born in Oymyakon, Russia at -50 degrees celsius in a small wooden shack and lived around here ever since
that was a stupid question. I just can't imagine that you are living up there while it's -50 degrees. That's impressive man. During my time in the army we were in the mountains and it had -30 degree during night, that was cold enough for my taste.
idk what ya'll are complaining about winter is the shit
