I always thought Northern Scandinavia was pretty cool, with the mountains and all. I'm from a place where the highest hill in the country is around 300 metres.. It doesn't freeze -20 here though so I shouldn't complain, I guess.

I'm from the Netherlands and I think the climate here is just fine. Our winter so far has been so mild that it still feels like it's autumn. In fact, this December was the warmest December ever, actually beating the warmest March of all time in average temperatures.

Summers tend to be pretty good imo, usually staying around 20-22 degrees average with a bit of luck.

Plus, Amsterdam's pretty great.
