Of the movies I saw that were released in 2015 I'd have to say The Hateful Eight. I've been watching a ton of movies recently, but I didn't see many new movies in 2015.
The best movie I saw in the past year was Drive, but it was released in 2011 or something.

Bone Tomahawk is the only movie released this year that I've seen, and it was pretty good.

Best movie I watched this year regardless of release date is Interstellar. I wish I would have gone to see it in a giant theater

They might be mindless action movies, but that doesn't make them bad movies. I got an extraordinary thrill watching Mad Max. It's not the best film ever made, but it was creative and exhilarating to watch.

I like /comfy/ feels in my movies. I also like films that challenge my perspective. Neither are bad film styles, they're just different that satisfy my moods.

My fav movie is 2001: A Space Odysey, the next is American Beauty, and next is Fight Club. They're different films with different styles and demographics, but they're not bad movies just because they don't fit the narrative that you've created for what a "good" movie is.

The only one I saw was Beasts of No Nation, and it was great. The only ones I really want to see are Creed, Entertainment, and The End of the Tour. I'm sure that I'll eventually get around to seeing Star Wars, but I doubt it will be very good.

Fuck that movie, it made Eazy look like a punk. Which in retrospect is probably true, considering he died of aids and Dre is a billionaire. But the one thing is Eazy's cred remained in tact which the movie tries to damage and make Dre and Cube look better.
