Who else /disinherited nobility/ here?
>My ancestors were Norman conquerors
>My family is in the House of Lords
>My more immediate family includes multiple US Senators
>My grandpa just had to marry a non-Catholic
>He was cut off from the family
>Were it not for that I would be on my family estate planning which tropical paradise to winter in instead of posting on a Peruvian necklace-assembly list-serve
I'm a direct descendant of both President Adam's
but my great grandparents lost all the money they had in banking when the depression hit and they were sent back to square one with everyone else
I have been doing some ancestry shit. Haven't been able to find my direct male line ancestors past the 1600s. Some guy just gave me some info saying hes descended from my great great grandfather's brother. He says were direct male line descendants of King Alfred the Great through a bastard grandson. Not sure if I believe him but he has the line all filled out.
Filthy commoner here.
I've always wished to be a member of the Nobility.
not the same but both of my grandfathers shit the bed
One was an engineer who worked for ford who didn't patent something he invented and the other owned massive steel factories but lost a lot of his money to a fraudulent investor
If your grandpa married a catholic, their child wouldn't be your mom/dad and whoever that child is wouldn't marry their current daughter/son in law and they wouldn't have had an entitled beta fuck the contained your consciousness, so you lost nothing
All this 'omgifitwasnt for mi great gr8 prusian god emperor rockefler with 500 million doller had married a nigger pesent i would be moneychad' is so fucking stupid
>Family was a large player in our home country
>Catholic-Protestant split begins, family goes Protestant
>Cue years of religious infighting
>Parts of the family go to the colonies, settle in Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, and Rhodesia
>Family that stayed home went in to debt, was forced to sell all their lands
Couple hundred years later and all we have is a farm and moderate estate. Still somewhat relevant as high ranking officers, at least.
nah, it's my mom's side of the family, and even her name isn't adams
but her grandparents were rich english/dutch bankers
we're not rich anymore though, they lost all their influence and money in the depression
>tfw I have a similar history
However, the situation with my grandpa was reversed, because he just HAD TO MARRY A FUCKING IRISH CATHOLIC WOMAN WHO WAS LESS THAN 5 FUCKING FEET TALL AND ROBBED MY FATHER AND ME OF THE GLORIOUS 6'3 HEIGHT AND FORTUNE THAT THE FUCKING IRISH WITCH BURNED THROUGH DIVORCE AND HORRIBLE INVESTING
Most americans who have family who has been here for 1-200+ years descend from somebody famous it's nothing impressive
No. He should have been one of the following:
>Smart enough to hide her religion, at least publicly
>Convince her to convert, at least publicly
>Had the leverage to blackmail his family into allowing it
>Make enough money of his own not to need the family's help through his connections
He was weak. They were right to disinherit my grandfather.
I know, right? How could an inferior, ugly black boy be able to get a white girl and not me? I am beautiful, and I am half white myself. I am descended from British aristocracy. He is descended from slaves. I deserve it more.
Descendant of Odin here.
My grandfather just had to marry that Christian woman...
>Minor nobility in Hungary
>Austro-Hungarian empire dissolved after WWI and Hungary split up
>Communist revolutionaries force my family to leave the country
>Grandfather is such a damn patriot that he would never even leave the country for vacation
Luckily he has kept all the documents I'd need to go back and get our stuff. Unfortunately he's probably the only relative I like so it's going to suck when he dies and I get it
>Ancestors were mid-level Iberian merchants
>Family decides that things are too set in stone in spanish society for them to climb up the social ladder
>One way ticket to New Hispania, what would later be Mexico
>They set up shop there and get both rich and decadent.
>During the civil wars in the last two centuries the heads of the family decide to support the wrong side everytime.
>The only reason they didn't go broke was because they made a smart investment in a startup that would go on to become Grupo Modelo, a.k.a Coronas.
>Dad spends his money on hookers and blow, literally
>Mom keeps bitching about "muh abolengo" "muh last name" while fuckeing her boytoy of the month.
>Brother is a fuckup that coasts on his last name too
>Sister is a materialist Stacy, with two abortions and counting.
I am fucking glad i got away from them. I am pretty sure that there are novelas based on the kinky bullshit my grandfathers pulled with their maids.
Well, my maternal grandma's family were regular jackoff farmers from Missouri in the 1930's, but they descended from Colonel George Reade from Virginia in the 1630's. He was descended from Edward III and was nephew to the secretary of Charles I, which is how he got a Virginia landgrant. One of my ancestors' plantations was near our relative George Washington's and they paid each other social calls. My grandma's last name was Page, but we don't know much about her dad's dad, only his mom. I don't know if he was related to the Page First Family of Virginia. I also descend from Jacob Asselin, the Huguenot minister of Dieppe in Normandy who ran to England and then his son went to Virginia and owned slaves.
Then on my English-born mom's side, her great-great grandpa was the illegitimate fruit of an affair between a British army officer and his Irish mistress born in the 1850's. The officer was from sort of a new-money family that had risen to position through military service and trade with India, but his mother was from an old, but minor gentry family that about 100 years earlier descended from Baron Thomas Hele, one of Charles I's colonels of horse in the English civil war. I like to buy expensive clothes at clearance sales, attend an Episcopal church, and I carry myself like a fruity Southern Cavalier. I was born in North Carolina in lower-middle class circumstances and I am a drunk.
Out of curiousity OP, what era were your family in the HOL?
I shit you not, when i was a kid my bitch of mother started looking for a new maid(dad got caught fucking her), when the applicants came by, it turned out many of them were just college girls looking for lunch money.
She turned them down, because in her words:
>A good maid is an indian maid
>all these rich plebs posting
You faggots aren't nobility
You're just as noble as shit eating peasants and have as much claim to noble titles. I don't care what president you're related to, you aren't a noble
my stupid brother just HAD to marry that wench from volantis
>be from a noble french family that fought with Richard the lionhearted in the third crusade
>Sometime afterwards, the family keep was sneak attacked by barbarians while the patriarch and his brothers were away, divesting most of the family and killing much of the bloodline
>patriarch used what money he had left to buy up cheap land and breed with the local scum in order to keep the family name going through history. if it wasn't for my polish moms side, I'd be considered a shitskin. Thank you based pole blood. Blue eyes but brown hair.
Not sure since finding records is a bit of a bitch, but we were in the House of Commons very recently it seems, in the 1900's. Not sure if we're there currently.
Now we've been in the US Senate and House often as well, and currently have people at the state level in multiple states still.
Seem the American branch is doing better than the British.
I'm not serious about religion, I go more out of a cultural/class thing. There's a good book called Albion's Seed: Four British Folkways and the Shaping of America, or something like that. The Anglican/Episcopal Church was a big center of Tidewater gentry life, but it was mostly devotional. Real religiosity was something you found more in the Puritans, or the Scot-Irish in the borderlands of Tennessee.
My family ancestry is of very wealthy members of the Scottish Stewart clan. My Great Great Grandfather elected to marry a Spanish woman and live on a tomato farm for the rest of his life. Thanks man.
>But you should still kill yourself for going to one of those churches
do not blame women: she cannot help spreading their legs and cannot do anything else... and betas like your dad are bound to remain betas. remember that the difficulty is not to enter the brothel, but to leave it, once you have chosen to enter it.
>tfw related to Vidkun Quisling, the nazi prime minister of Norway
It's weird to think about life would be different and he won. We weren't closely related, but enough so I would be able to reep some benefits from it.
My grandpa on my dad's side died in a barfight in Chicago and my grandparents on my mom's side were white Mexicans who immigrated to America based on their merit (lawyer and nurse I think).
I think we're just common folk. However there's a lot of members of the "Mexican" side of my family who are doctors, lawyers, politicians, intelligence officers and military officers. Quite a few peeps on my dad's Italian side who own pretty successful companies, mostly in construction and mechanical work.
We're pretty capable of breaking through to minor league nobility status, but I'm gonna ruin it by being a drugged up alcoholic author. Also the great divorce wave that hit America affected my family like mostly everyone else. Everyone is divorced from everyone now and it's the Cold War in my family.
>They're shit and the staff sucks
Yes, it got really bad after the BRs took over.
>lol I visited one of your cervecerias last year.
My family only owns a part of it through stocks anon, they used to have a lot more of "pull" in the executive decisions, but not anymore, gotta finance those coke habits somehow.
Also, i try to stay away from family business as much as possible. The "entrepeneurs" or old exec types are fucking toxic down here.
>fifty years in the future
>I belonged to an up and coming family within the illuminati
>My ancestors were lawyers, doctors, intelligence officers, and businessmen
>My grandpa went and fucked it up by surfing some retarded website called ROBOT9000 on 4chang everyday
>Even by the standards of his time the website was horribly outdated and full of the lowest of early twenty first century scum
>Muh lost nobility
I'm nobility too.
Somali nobilty which is like half the country because everyone just claims shit.
Grandfather was in the Italien Kings personal guard and watched him die in ww2.
I Guess that's something
Multi-millionaire parents. Lived in mansion.
Good grades. Caused no problems.
They couldn't accept weird assburger son.
Kicked out, had to drop out of high school.
Roach-infested gang-infested low-income apt.
Learned HTML and made porn sites.
Out of poverty, but unfulfilling life.
Wanted science career. Too old now.
My wife was Arabian "Royalty".
Basically she was rich as fuck.
We dated for years, I had no idea that I was kept a secret from her family. I always it was weird she dodged me meeting them for so long.
I met her freshman year, she's a robot too. We basically hit it off on the fact that we didn't expect anything from each other.
Eventually one of her younger brothers spilled when he saw us kissing in my car when I picked her up.
She called me the next day crying and telling me to come get her. Apparently she had some basic alibi that she used when we hung out. Her dad legitimately beat her when he found out about me. We never went back.
We're pretty average middle class. I wish I could give her the comfort she used to have but she insists she's happy.
I'm like 68th in line for the throne of the Ashanti Kingdom
>inb4 you know what
No one event. It's like parents who can't accept having a gay/trans kid, but the kid can't help acting faggy and liking faggy things. They wanted me to stop being autistic and be somebody else; I couldn't, and they interpreted that as defiance. There were also narcissists, who never worked during my entire life, spent a fortune frivolously, yet made me work 3 jobs while still in school.
Well they sound like pretty awful people, anon. Perhaps it's for the best that you've some distance. In my experience 95% of people are awful, and finding that other 5% is daunting, but possible.
>Napoleon Bonapartes brother marries a woman in America
>they have a child together
>Napoleon nullifies the marriage and forces his brother to return so he can marry a princess or queen in order to gain more allies
>mother and kid are disinherited from the bloodline
That's my bloodline on my dads fathers side, his mothers side are Prussian Jews who emigrated before WWI. My mothers side is full aryan German however I know little about that side but I assume I have some relatives who served under the nazis
>Grandma owned funeral home in the small town we live in
>She funded the university built here
>She took my mom and gave her a job when she was on the building's porch on the verge of suicide because she got fired from some factory
>Dad had a crush on her, married her, completely fine with Grandma
>Dad went on drugs heavily and divorced Mom when I was in middle school
>This made the rest of the family besides Grandma to hate me and mom
>She died right before I graduated with Honor's
>Inherited 100k for college and careers
>Already get free college from luck with scholarships
>Family trying to bond with me again at some thanksgiving knowing that I have shit now
>all I could see is snakes in the eyes of these niggas
>Get back to my dorm and never leave
>Only talk to mom on phone
I'm just living of ramen and water, I haven't used a cent of that inheritance
Get yourself a good accountant and invest that shit. Real Estate is a good idea, buy a duplex or townhouse and live in one side, rent the other, earn enough to buy more properties. Diversifying your investments will be key though.
>tfw my father's side is a bunch of upperclass Scotsmen doctors, but they're a giant bunch of cunts
>my mother and her sisters are literal rape babies from a Syrian in backwoods Newfoundland and they're the nicest most generous people I've ever met
my great great grandfather was a tactician during the civil war, owned several mountains in West Virgina as a private Estate.
his land was taken from him by the federal government during the 1930's
Fuck the USSA for stealing my family legacy while we were busy fighting their wars.
Shit will never not piss me off, there isn't a single US marine who doesn't honor my family name, and yet they blindly serve the government that took away all that my family earned, and will one day take all they earn.
>Descendant of Saxon Kings
>Family's castles are a big deal in England
>Family's ancestral home in America is on the National Historic Register, as is the family mansion
>Grandpa eloped with a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, was disinherited
>Dad became a successful doctor, convinced the family to get in touch with him
>At a party my mother gets drunk and insults the family
I am not suffering, but half my cousins have an automatic $250k/yr job if they graduate from anywhere with any degree
>Kings and shit
>Both sides of family own successful farms in the Carolinas
>One has to leave the state and tens of thousands of dollars (in 1930s dollars) in property to escape a lynch threat
>The other was okay until a decade and a half ago when the whore who married into the family made her senile husband change his will and leave all of the land to her
>We found out 5 years ago that she's sold off most of it to timber companies so she and her fatass family doesn't have to work
>She showed up at her sister in law's funeral and no one would talk to her; she's dying alone now, slowly
Not nobility, but good ol' Southern hospitality obliterated any economic dignity my family might have had.
>Tfw mixbreed mudblood with zero knowledge of father's family
>Minimal knowledge of mothers side, probably Karelian farmers/commoners
And then I'm different from known family in just about every way, being of different character and latino in a family of really white people.
Maybe that's why I'm obsessed with judging people based on character and merit as opposed to blood. I'm sure that many of my "issues" could be summarized as "le edgy daddy issues lel".
Wherever there's a Pole there is also whining
>We din do nuffin
