I just played a League of Legends game. Picked Nasus because I keep getting bad teammates.My team is complete trash, for example Caitlyn on my team goes 7-16. I carried the shit out of them, at one point I 1v3'd their team from almost full HP. After 55 minutes of my hard work, they're down to their 2 nexus turrets and have no inhibitors up. At the final fight I disconnect for 30 seconds, the only disconnect of the day, and when I come back my team lost. An hour of my hard work gone just like that.

It's just a video game, but to me it's a metaphor for everything in my life. No matter how hard I try I'll be stopped by some bullshit at the end.

I always thought it took me a while to do things because I was a perfectionist.
I later found out that being slow at work means you're just stupid.
It's also difficult for me to understand directions from a verbal standpoint.
I was a "learn by doing" kid, a "smart but lazy" kid.
