Hello r9k, I'm 20, french, I'm kinda depressed, and I don't know what to do with my life

had some huge depression back when I was 16, did some mistakes, I don't want to go back to scarification, I'm currently quite lonely, no more real friends, and I don't know what to do to feel better in my everyday life, any Idea?
could someone share with me the way he handled depression and loneliness?

Try joining an online IRC and make online friends. That's what I did on Battle.net 1.0 when I was your age. However, to be honest, most IRCs are dead and those that do exist have their own little cliques. So ignore everything I said.

Maybe you should start a R9K Skype group. I did that for a while and it made me feel really happy.

Do you play videogames?
I play a lot of games on steam and just add everyone who seems nice. You can even talk to those people on teamspeak after you play. Most of them are in the same boat anyway

I always found that exercise helps a lot with keeping my mind clear.

Also, although it sounds cliche, spending time in the sun really helps. Maybe go for a 45min walk every day?
