Yes, but if you don't feel like it there is another option. Buy some of those silicon scar sheets, put them on your glans with some lotion and keep them on 24/7. You may want to wear a manhood or something else tight to keep them on. This should not only dekeratinize the glans but also get rid of any cracks that may have formed. Just be sure to wear something afterwards so it doesn't keratinize again.

Foreskin "restoration" is a misnomer. It doesn't actually recreate a real foreskin. At best it gives you an imitation.

"Glans re-covering" would be a better name for it.

The main reason circumcision is so damaging is that it destroys the ridged band, the main pleasure zone of the penis.

A lot of "restorers" go on about re-gains in glans sensitivity, but I hardly see how that could be all that beneficial. The glans is protopathic and it's primarily sensitive to pain, not pleasure.

I suppose it could be helpful if your circumcision was so tight that it hurts to fap or get erections though.

Some have suggested that the improved experience of sex and masturbation glans re-coverers experience could be due to allowing the few remaining tactile corpuscles in the residual foreskin to experience stretch (Taylor suggested that the tactile corpuscles in the foreskin, especially the ridged band, might be adapted specially to detect gentle stretches and cause the brain to perceive that stretching as sexually pleasurable).

So, I'm not saying it's useless. Just that it doesn't really "restore" an actual "foreskin", and that making the glans more sensitive really doesn't seem like that great a thing. The glans is barely erogenous to begin with. It's a lot easier to make it hurt than to make it feel good. Pain-sensing nerve endings (nocioceptors) in the glans outnumber encapsulated end organs by ten to one, and the main encapsulated end organs in the glans are "genital end bulbs". The scientific literature is sketchy on what those do, but there's no evidence that those end bulbs function in any way like tactile corpuscles, which are very seldom found in the glans (in fact, some biologists dissecting the glans didn't find any tactile corpuscles, though others found a few).

Anyway, if you're interested in doing it would probably be wiser to talk to a knowledgeable doctor about it before just jumping in and trying it oneself. You wouldn't want to accidentally get hurt.

You might be operating under the mistaken impression that the glans is the main pleasure center of the penis. It isn't.

By the way guys, there is an organization currently working on REAL foreskin "restoration', or more specifically foreskin regeneration. It's called Foregen.

This idea makes a lot more sense than trying to tug your remaining shaft skin to create a pseudo-foreskin via tissue expansion.

The very word "foreskin" is somewhat of a misnomer because it's not just skin. It's a complex structure made up of different kinds of tissues, including muscle. A restored 'fauxskin' is nowhere near the same thing as a real foreskin--but one created by regenerative medicine might be.

We don't really know whether having re-covered the glans by tissue expansion might actually make it harder to regenerate a real foreskin (if and when that becomes possible).

I've used 4 or 5 different methods. I started with tape, then bought a CAT 2 Q stretcher a few months into restoring (which I still use occasionally). A couple years ago I bought a HypeRestore inflation device and am very happy with it. Manual tugging is also very important; I've done it the whole time I've restored.
Next I want to try weights to grow more outer skin.
I tried using the spray adhesive and strongly discourage that avenue.
If you are interested, I started at a CI-2 and am now a CI-4. In terms of pleasure there has been a world of difference. Masturbation is alot easier and much more satisfying, so much that I only masturbate once or twice a week now as opposed to once or twice a day trying to chase the high I could never get with a cut cock.

Been restoring with the manual method for around 2 years. I have made a load of progress but I'm not quite at the point where I feel I should stop just yet. When I'm flaccid, my whole glans except maybe a penny sized portion toward the urethra is covered. It's awesome. My orgasms are much better, I can feel loads more etc. I'd go into more detail but I'm sleepy as fuck. Basically, you just apply tension to the skin below the circumcision scar to lengthen it over time. Mitosis, the same process at work any time your cells replicate. Tension triggers this.

Make an okay sign with your hands, grasp your dick below the scar, tighten and pull, preferabely while hard. Don't squeeze so hard that your dick hurts, but apply enough pressure to have a good tension on the skin. Do this for 30 seconds like 4-7 times everytime you fap and you'll start seeing progress soon.

Anecdotally, some guys have mentioned that "retaining" with the other hand helps prevent the tension from going to the tunica albuginea. You don't want to tension the tunica because there's no point, and if you tear it it could cause internal scarring.

Also, some guys might have a hard time even locating their circumcision scar. It can be buried in the sulcus if you got a "beauty cut" circumcision--in which case you have basically no inner foreskin, and shouldn't try to tension what tiny bit of inner foreskin you do have (it's usually like 1mm or less) because that tiny bit is pretty much fused to the glans/sulcus, and trying to tug it could cause an injury.
