Does anyone else think there's something evil about early morning times?

I honestly don't think humans are meant to be up before like 8 or 9 am. I've always struggled getting up for work and classes and shit at 6am so I decided to go to bed early and get lots of sleep.

Just got 10 hours of sleep (the amount I normally sleep when I have a day off) and woke up at 5am and I feel like fucking shit and I'm tired and want to go back to sleep till it's like 8 and a little brighter outside.

The early morning just makes me tired, I don't think humans should be up at this time. NATURALLY a human would awaken feeling refreshed when the sun is up and the cool morning breeze hits them around 8 or 9 am. None of this wagecuckery getting up at 6 am when the sun hasn't even rised yet bullshit

I couldn't find an article about it that wasn't clickbait, but there's some study about how waking up consistently before 9am is torturous to the human brain or something

I woke up at 3 this morning, nothing weird happening.

I'm not saying I agree with it, just that I read something about it :^)

Some humans have evolved to have morning alertness genes while others have nighth alertness genes. Meaning some people genetically function better at night due to primal survival of who watched over the camp and others have that but for the morning. Watched a video on it, basically morning people just have it way better than night owls I. Our society.
I'm a night owl, super active at 11pm and love getting up at 11 am

Dunno, I have been waking up at about 7-8 for a week now and I feel better than ever.

if ya dont like it that's fine. i like to wake up early though. i always feel like i have more time.

days feel a little less like days when you are 12pm-4am, but 7am-10pm feels like i get the whole day.

the other nice thing is that the schedule is rly flexible so i can sleep or wake up at any time and get back to the routine without feeling like shit at all

Nah you got it backwards mate.

Due to modern lighting and temptations like anime we are up way too late.

We should be feeling sleepy after the sun goes down and asleep by 8-9pm every night.

I always go to sleep at 10pm or earlier but I wake up at 6 am feeling like shit dude. I hate it.

>sunrise at 9am
lmao

naturally all that matters is that you primarily sleep at night, 2-5 is a crucial time period in most studies, but ultimately that you sleep regularly. microbes and your immune system don't actually give a shit about sunrise, but light is a good way to wake you up. and the point of having early starts is to get more done throughout the day. school alright sure but as an adult nobody forces you to take a position with a normal shift. if you're good at your job you can even whine to your boss that you think waking up an hour or two earlier is "evil" and you would be more effective if you feel a cool morning breeze before you get out of bed.

We are biologically not meant to wake up when the sun is down, our brains produce melatonin and other chemicals i don't recall in absence of light, which makes us sleepy.
Soo biologically speaking, the OP is right.

actually criminals are more likely to be night owls because they need the darkness of the night to do their crimes. this is why you should never trust people who like night activities like clubbing. they are more likely to have dark traits as well.

I had a dream and I knew exactly what time it was when I woke up, any significance to that?

I've always been a morning person. Some of my happiest childhood memories involve waking up early on days that my mom needed the car because we would all drive my dad to work together. I loved watching the sun rise.

Worst time of day for me is mid-afternoon. My brain just goes into a fog after lunch. Thankfully I can set my own schedule with work most of the time, so 1 PM to 4 PM tends to be naptime. After that I'm good until about 11 PM most days.

Whenever I'm able to just follow my own schedule, I go to bed around 11pm and wake around 9am. Not too late or early, and it feels good.
