I don't have college + no prior experience and I have still been hired into IT company. I am doing tech support for companies, so more advanced stuff involving mainly linux and I make about average wage for my country.
So yes, it's definitely possible.

How did I do it? I kind of "lied" in my CV (I stated I had 3 years of "experience" even though all I did was play video games) and learned all the required stuff.

Pick up a trade. Plumbing, hvac pay pretty well.

You have internet access and understand English, do at least check online freelancing sites once and browse trough the categories. Maybe you will find yourself able to do one of the jobs there. Have you tried this already?

Well the thing with these sites is that in general you don't need any qualification at all it will just make it less likely that someone will hire you. I was more meaning if you look through the categories you will maybe find something you know how to do (or how to learn doing it) that will probably earn you some more. I once did a translation gig from English into my native language pay was okish (I live literally in one of the most expensive countries so money earned abroad is worth even less here) but I never studied translation...

You haven't fucked up your life yet, suicide would do that for sure though. There are education options for adults too. There are nice things to do in life (idk maybe you want to help or work for a charity?). I know myself I sometimes wish I could unfuck my past and because this is not possible end up thinking I messed up my life already but I think we all still have the means to change.

Lots of things only require certifications/license. Trades. Real estate, mortgage officer, personal banker are all possible without degree at certain companies.

Personally I liked being a general contractor. Roughly 25/hr, little supervision, finished all my shit by lunch everyday. I got into that as apprentice thru a friend.
