last time you had a birthday party?
>tfw I've been 6 for the last 20 years of my life
Nice. Are you still treated like a child during Christmas as well? Sounds like you're living the dream.

you outgrow birthday parties you manchild
At 11 years old
After that it was either take out dinner or nothing at all
I still want cake tho, so I might buy an ice cream one this year, smoke weed and browse /r9k/ :^)
I never had a birthday party. I remember wanting one as a kid, but my parents convincing me not to. I'm thankful they did. I can't imagine how much no one showing up to my birthday party would have fucked me up.
I used to do birthday parties every year until I was about 15. Parents loved putting them on, they were usually pretty successful. Got a surprise party when I was 18. Made me cry when there were so many people. I genuinely thought I was a fucking loser then. Now I just hangout with a few friends on my birthdays.
I've never had a birthday party.
And last year was my most depressing birthday so far.
>was turning 20
>spent the day with part of my family
>worried about my future and feeling old because I was officially no longer a teenager
>before I went to bed, decided to do something special to take my mind off my worries
This is where I fugged up. I decided to watch Whisper of the Heart because I had never seen it. Witnessing a cute teenage romance reminded me of what I missed out on during my school years and ruined my day even more.
Oh well, I've figured out a surefire way to have a good birthday this year. I have two specific gifts in mind so I will tell each parent exactly what to get me. They're hobby things that I'm interested in, so it should all work out well. I figure it's better than me not figuring anything out, and ending up receiving quite a few cheap gag gifts I won't really use.
I went on a tangent, but it doesn't matter I guess.

What are the hobbies, anon?

Also kill yourself while you're at it

I thought inviting friends from school would make me pathetic knowing that I didnt have any at school and every ignored me so getting ignored on my birthday too wouldnt be good

Bicycle riding (which is difficult right now because it's winter and I also live next to a highway), so I'm asking for a bike rack. I will take my bike to a trail or to town once in a while.
The other gift is for a hobby I haven't really started yet, which is drawing digitally with a tablet. I have drawn a little digitally but it's hard with a laptop touchpad. So if I can find a cheap tablet online (I like being frugal) I'll tell my parents I want it.
