I have a story to tell. I found a real fucked up area on the deepweb by mistake. I was trying to look up info on underground sports betting for UFC fights, and stumbled onto some page about some underground fighting tournament. Supposedly this crime syndicate(not naming them) holds underground fights, and every Christmas Eve they hold this really big tournament where the winner gets shitloads of money and fame in the underworld. These fights are nuts, like they have these arenas set up in diff places, have guns and knives, pipes, bats, all kinds of shit, and just let the fighters go at it, winner take all.

Also, on the message board on the site, there were people discussing odd rumors about the tournaments and the syndicate running them, but they seemed too weird, some of it was downright fucking creepy.

I don't get why nazi-related stuff seems to be so protected.

If anyone is interested, I'll mention a couple of the rumors commonly perpetuated on the board:

1. No one has any idea who the leader of this crime syndicate is. No one knows their name, race, age, gender, anything. There's been names and identities thrown about, but no one knew who those people were or if any of it was even true. The most common rumor being spread is that the leader is some woman, a russian billionaire, and she's supposedly unbelievably fucking ruthless and cold.

2. This crime syndicate is involved in tons of fucked up shit. Human trafficking, prostitution, arms dealing, drugs, technological research. No one knows just how powerful they are, but people mentioned supposedly some seeing people of prominence at some of these tournaments as spectators, Putin was named as one.

3. Some claim that the prize money is just one prize you can win. Supposedly there's a hidden secret prize you can win, but only if you request it, and only if you complete a special task at the end of the contest. Some claimed that very few ever manage to survive this task, and the few that do are said to get a special prize of a wish, anything their heart desires no matter how absurd. Problem is it's also rumored that the few who managed to get their prize always had it backfire on them horribly and it ruined them.

4. A few more rare rumors claim the leader of the crime syndicate isn't even a human being, but something else entirely. The few times this got posted though pretty much everyone on the threads save for a few laughed at them and told them they were nuts and need to get off the drugs. One guy who claims to have entered one of these contests and lived said that he saw firsthand the true nature of the leader. The guy seemed kinda deranged though, so he probably was just some dude off his meds*shrugs*

The arenas are supposedly specially designed areas from urban spots repurposed for these contests. I know of a few mentioned:

"Stairway to Hell" - supposed to be some kind of parking garage on a pretty high up abandoned building kept around for this purpose. It's called stairway to hell because the area the fights take place in has the railings and fences gone, so anyone who gets knocked off this floor pretty much falls straight to their death. A few claimed the lights from the surrounding buildings cast a red glow at night time, which makes the place seem sorta hellish.

"The Killing Floor" - An old slaughterhouse revamped with deadly traps to make the fights more "exciting".

"Drowning Pool" - An aquarium, the fights supposedly take place in this one odd area, which is pretty much a metal walkway above a bunch of large tanks filled with sharks.
