For a long time I was a complete beta loser. Turns out that the "just be yourself" meme is true if you have something to contribute to the social environment you are in. Having a good, borad sense of humor is among those things. It makes a difference whether you're the quiet guy or the quiet but somethimes funny guy.

And don't give a fuck as much. Commit yourself to the goal of being more comfortable in your skin if you truly want to achieve it. Meditation is not a meme if you stick to it for a month or so. Exercise is a gamechanger too.
