Happiness is temporary. It's caused by our hobbies and other things we like. They offer escapism. From life.
The human race doesn't have a heart, they only take advantage of others, animate and inanimate, for profit. Everyone's done it at least once in any way and felt good about it, wanting to do it again. Don't lie to yourself, please.
The earth is dying, we're dying, but governments fail to admit that, because they only think about profit. Our hobbies keep this thought away from us.
We also joke about suicide all the time, yet we're too scared to actually do it, because of fear of failing, and pain, physical.
I'm not killing myself because, even though I'm aware I'm not needed in this world, I like my hobbies. Though, one day, they will fail to satisfy me enough, and that thought will overwhelm me to the point where I'm unable to resist, if not before that, when the Earth will officially be declared dead, or I die naturally, with an unbearable amount of pain.

Theory:
Memories form personality in the same way they form knowledge. You are who you told yourself you were because someone told you are before you ever really were.
And-
Most of what we remember is actually just knowing. We have already processed the actual memories into personality traits our inner voice/self-identity. We KNOW we love Grandpa because we always loved Grandpa. We have to pause and reform bits of memory to actually remember Grandpa himself because we have assimilated what we love about him into who we are and the rest becomes, not suppressed, but rather, negative personality traits.
Altogether its the same as memorizing the Bible in verses and passages, or any other form of learning, (I am undecided on numbers-based memorization. It may use a different part of the brain). Its even possible that repetitive physical learning, like playing a musical instrument, (Possibly music is its own brain region too), or painting, sculpting, pencilling, and other forms of artistic creativity involving a mental direction of your hands and fingers to form visual content.
Thats my theory while drugging and being a Christian at the same time.
You can argue my theory or explain to me why God will be okay with marijuana when He clearly said, then directed by His Holy Spirits Inspiration, His written Word for us, as well as established the very rules of physics we discover, study and teach,that "drugging" is a sin? It really isnt the spiritual path to worship at all.
If you could explain why Im wrong that would be most excellent.
