If you're an average girl, thin, and young your body is going to look 10/10. Lithe, tight and toned. But as we age, our skin gets saggier all over because loss of collagen. This happens to guys too. So as a result, even the girls that don't get fat end up looking worse. There is no way to really reverse loss of collagen due to sag.

What works for men is that the muscles fill out the skin and give it a more taut and tight appearance. If you starve a muscular 16 year old until he's lost most muscle mass, he'll just look skinny. If you starve a muscular 26 year old until he's lost most muscle mass, he'll look like a flabby ugly mess.

Women don't build muscle as easy as men do. At all. Nor is female beauty dependent on looking muscular. The few women who do achieve a muscular female body type look AMAZING, fit and tight... but those are rare because it is not as desired of a body type as we thing it is. Most of the popular porn has a very lithe, slim physique (think most cam girls, Nubiles, etc) and muscles are seen as extra. So while most women in their 20s can look "normal" in clothing, they look like a flabby/saggy mess outside of clothing.

If you mean "why do most women become fatter as they age"? It isn't really a woman thing. 3/4 of Americans are overweight or fat, with 55% of that number being men, and 45% being women. Women are more likely to be obese than men by a small margin of 1-2%, but men are more likely to be overweight. Chances are you just don't pay attention to the ugly dudes, since they kind of blend into the wall.

America's fat problem is a good reason why Americans should never be taken seriously. In Korea or Japan this would be absolute haram.
