I've done something terrible r9k. I was so desparate for friendship I started talking to the employees of a ski park I have a season pass to. I've been around 12 people talking smoking and drinking for the past 2 days, about 8 of which are staying in same 1 story 500 sqft place.. Tomorrow they want me to have dinner with their families with something like 30 people there. I was not prepared to be scrutinized by this many people, many of them are dating or married and having to explain why I'm single is making me anxious. Everyone is passed out now, only I am awake. I have the option to just ghost, get in my car and drive away. Or I could stay here and try to integrate. What do?

Same OP. I used to think I was depressed in the past but this is like a whole new experience. It almost feels like a physical pain. Head feels clouded and it feels impossible to do basic tasks. I try to explain it to people but I don't think they can actually relate. Seems pretty fucking impossible to get out of this. Literally every 10 minutes I imagine me putting a noose round my neck or shooting myself.
