A bunch of moderators at a forum I've been an admin at since 2012 (been modding since 2008) just staged a coup and revoked my admin privileges and permanently banned my account.
I got on AIM and one of them told me that my posts haven't been up to par lately and the whole community was getting sick of me. I demanded that they reinstate my account and that this is all ridiculous and fascism and then he blocked me.
I was a fucking founder. I spent years of my life on this forum. Every single post that I've made since I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL, permanently erased.
What the fuck do I do now?

I think I'm starting to get my life back on track from a really bad stretch of depression. New antidepressant has been making me feel more motivated lately. I'm going to start looking for a job soon to keep myself active, I think my current NEET lifestyle is really bad for me.
As soon as I can have a stable source of income I can get a gym membership and start lifting :) life is getting better.

How do so many Americans get on disability? I have bipolar disorder. I thought I could handle my job (it's hilarious, I'm actually a counselor and can't find another job). I have multiple meltdowns a week and often ditch work because of how crazy I get. Then some days I skip work b/c I feel like I can't even get out of bed. I am on medication, but because I was an alcoholic prior to getting on the meds, I'm told I probably can't get disability without somehow proving that my symptoms came from the alcohol. I never wanted to be an out-of-work loser, but I can't do this anymore, and I don't want to mentally harm any of my clients (adolescents) because of my own problems.

I'm a counselor. Where I live there is a rough 9% of people with disability. That's not a TON of people, but it's a lot. I have clients and client parents that I see on disability who absolutely don't need it.

You have to already have quit or been fired. Also, find a disability calculator, 'cause if you're in private practice and used to making good money. It's not going to happen. I left a job and I went from 32k job to 16k.
